8/20/17- 6-foot-4, 200-pound right-handed pitcher. #84 ranked prospect- will make a jump in MN rankings once updated. Has progressively improved over the last year. Large durable build. Controlled mechanics, clean arm action, slight shoulder tilt- hides ball from hitter, has arm quickness to get up and over, with extension out front. Fastball has life with varying run and cut action, delivered downhill, at 87-88 mph. Throws an above avg. slider, tight spin, with 10/4 shape and late break. Curveball has heavy rolling action with 11/5 shape and avg. shape and depth. Avg. feel for changeup in and around zone.
6/20/17- 6-foot-3, 190-pound right-handed hitting pitcher. Taller square frame. Projects to continue to add size and strength. Uptempo delivery, slight collapse down mound with drop and drive mechanics. Compact arm action with solid arm quickness. Fastball was 83-85 mph with late running action to plate. Slider was 75-78 mph with short late break for strikes. 72-74 mph changeup is thrown near fastball arm speed, turns it over, creating solid fade and sink.
3/20/17- 6-foot-3, 190-pound right-handed pitcher. High leg kick delivery with slight tuck and turn, compact arm action with slight stab down on back-side, arm is quicker and clean out front. Fastball was straight at 82-83 mph; throwing strikes in upper half of zone. Curveball and slider are similar pitches with varying velo; both showing sweeping break to plate. Changeup is thrown with good arm action with slight run to plate.
7/6/16- 6-foot-2, 180-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. 8.16 runner. Slight up tempo delivery, swings front leg, lands with direction to plate, avg. extension on release, stabs down on back-side- arm is clean out front, with slight shoulder tilt. Fastball had varying action at 77-79 mph. 11/5 curveball had early break at 65-66 mph. Slider had 1-plane break with side-ways spin at 67-70 mph. Changeup was best secondary pitch with cut action at 66-69 mph. Double tap trigger, loses posture and balance in swing, makes solid contact, sprays ball across field, 73 mph exit velocity. Solid defender at first base, makes routine plays, longer arm action, accurate to bag, 71 mph arm strength across diamond.
5/3/16- 6-foot-1, 170-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. Long legs- projectable frame with maturity and strength gains. Slight collapse in delivery, front foot outside knee, with avg. finish/extension to plate. Hides baseball behind body with stab down; clean arm action out front. Fastball has downhill plane with slight cut, commands the strike zone, and was 75-76 mph. Breaking ball was solid with tight rotation, small shape, and depth for strikes. Slows arm action on changeup with fade in zone. 8.43 runner. Body load, longer stride, flat swing plane, short finish after contact, pull approach, 77 mph exit velocity. Solid fielder, decent actions, can handle position, long arm action with accuracy, 74 mph arm strength.
