7/15/17- PBR ProCase- Missouri commit. Currently ranked No. 3 in the Minnesota Class of 2018. 6-foot, 215-pound right-handed hitting RHP/OF. On the mound works from a high ¾ arm angle with a short arm action. Drop and drive delivery working in line with home plate. Fastball works downhill at 87-88 mph. Curveball has 12-6 shape with depth at 75 mph. Changeup worked 76 mph. At the plate hits from a tall, open setup with a long, leg kick load. Line drive hitter with a short, level swing path. 83 mph exit velocity from a tee. Ran the 60 at 7.51. Defensively has a short arm action from an over the top slot. Plays thru the ball with a long exchange. Threw 87 mph.

2016 Future Games- 6-foot, 190-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. #181 ranked 2018 in PBR Overall. Physical build, present strength, with muscular lower half. Has made large improvements on mound over last year. Good balance point, collects over rubber, and drives baseball downhill. Front should tilt adds deception and hides ball from hitter. Showed good command of 87-89 mph fastball with decent life and flashed above avg. breaking ball with 11/5 shape at 75-77 mph. Springer ran a 7.69 60, was 90 mph from the outfield, and recorded an 81 mph exit velocity. Open stance, active load, dives into contact, pull approach, strong swing with flashes of power. Proto right fielder. Usable hands and feet. Tracks fly balls well. Strong arm with online throws and accurate to bag.
3/13/16- 5-foot-11, 195-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. 7.6 runner. Projectable build with strong lower half. Present strength in bat with raw hitting mechanics. Has rhythm in load. Drop drive mechanics to contact. Flashes above avg. pop with mid/pull approach. 86 mph exit velocity. Proto build and actions for right field. Needs to improve running speed. Good angles and actions to field. Plus arm strength from outfield with good accuracy and well above avg. carry to target at 92 mph. Power-type pitcher on mound with upside. Above avg. arm strength for class. 84-86 mph fastball from ¾ slot. Breaking ball has 12/6 shape at 71-75 mph. Changeup has solid fade at 77-80 mph.
