Positional Profile: 3B/RHP

Body: 5-foot-11, 190-pound mature and stocky frame. 

Hit: RHH.  At the plate showed a slightly upright stance and quiet hand set.  Level bat path and line drive approach.  Gets into a good load and drifts forward onto the front leg.  Has some strength at contact.  Hands work quick through the zone and he uses the whole field well. 

Power: 84 mph exit velocity from the tee. 

Arm: RH.  INF-78 mph.  Low ¾ release and arm works across the body.  

Defense: In the infield uses short feet and direct routes to the ball.  Very quick exchange and gets the ball out of the glove quickly.  Showed good glove action and throw had good trajectory.  

Run: 4.70 runner from home to first.

Delivery: Smooth/methodical delivery and tempo working right in the middle of the rubber.  Kicks lead leg out and glides down the mound directly towards the target.  Gets to good balance point and maintains balance throughout the delivery. 

Arm Action: High ¾ arm slot with quick hand speed and smooth arm action.  

FB: 78-80 mph, slight arm side run with spin rates in the 2200’s.

CB: 63-65 mph, 11/5 action with early break.

CH: 68-70 mph, flat depth with arm side fade. 

Proportional 5-foot-11, 180-pound frame with present strength. The right-handed hitter sets up in a tall, narrow stance with some rhythm in his hands. Uses a small toe-tap and hand load into a medium stride to start his swing. Level bat path through the zone, creating line-drives and fly-balls during BP. Displays some hand quickness, registering an 83 mph bat-exit velocity. Ran a 7.82 60-yard dash. In the infield, uses short, choppy footwork to field with good hands and glove to field. Quicker exchanges, throwing from a short-¾ sling at 75 mph.

On the mound, the right-handed pitcher uses a repeatable, drop-and-drive delivery down the mound. Finishes with momentum towards home, landing slightly closed. Throws from a quick ¾ arm slot. Fastball sat 74-78 T80 mph with straight action for strikes. Curveball showed 12/6 break with occasional depth at 66-67 mph.

Defense: Got to every ball in the work out. Feet and hands work together. Developing quickness.
Arm: Right-Handed. INF - 70 mph. Short arm stoke coming through a high-¾ slot with a quick release.
Hit: Right-Handed. Squared, narrow and upright stance with slight rhythm in his hands. Barrel tip load with a slight arm bar before launching his hands on a flat path with some length and quickness in his hands.
Power: 81 mph exit velocity from the tee. Average pop. Line drive hitter.
Run: 4.81 runner home-to-first. 

Delivery: Solely threw out of the stretch, drop/drive type delivery, strong front side, front toe lands closed, directional to target, athletic finish.
Arm Action: Right-Handed. Short, quick draw, high 3/4 slot.
FB: T74, 72-74 mph. Four-seam type, plays straight, strikes.
CB: 58-61 mph. 12/6 shape, some depth, breaks early.
CH: 68-69 mph. Showed arm-side run. 

Davis is a 5-foot-9 160-pound right-handed hitting third baseman in Missouri's 2022 class.  He ran 4.76 home to first and has a 74 mph exit velocity.  At the plate, balanced stance, short in line stride, accelerates hands through contact, slight lift to swing path, quick bat speed, middle to pull side approach.  On the infield, short high three quarters arm slot, controlled actions, 68 mph positional velocity, clean transfers with mostly accurate throws.
