Positional Profile: OF/RHP
Body: 5-foot-10, 180-pound athletic frame with present strength.
Hit: RHH. At the plate starts with a neutral stance and athletic posture with a quiet set up with the hands. Short rock into the back leg with lower half working linearly through the zone to soft front leg. Hips and feet open up at contact point with strong rotation of the core through contact. Maintains balance throughout the swing. Has some strength at contact and gets good extension. Level bat path and line drive approach. Does a good job of manipulating the lower half to match plane on the pitch down in the zone.
Power: 93 mph exit velocity off the tee and 88 mph exit velocity in BP.
Arm: RH. OF-89 MPH. Over the top arm slot with a long/clean arm action and strong pulldown at release.
Defense: In the outfield attacks the ball with aggressive rhythm and shorter strides. Fields the ball on the outside of the glove side leg with a developing feel for glove action and a firm glove. Utilizes a shuffle style crow hop and gains a lot of ground with the feet before release.
Run: 6.57 runner in the 60.
Delivery: On the mound uses short and simple footwork around the rubber with a slow and methodical pace. Works to a high balance point with a slight stall out at the top of the delivery. Strong coil of the hips and shoulder at the top of the balance point with weight starting to lean back. High front shoulder titl. On the mound, the projectable right-handed pitcher works from a repeatable rocker-step delivery with good direction and extension down the mound. Strong front leg and good use of lower half to generate velocity. Throws with intent from a quick high-¾ arm action. Fastball sat 80-83 mph with slight arm-side run for strikes. Curveball shows tight 11/5 break with depth at 71-73 mph.
