6/7/16 - Mize is a 6-foot-2 169-pound left-handed hitting outfielder from Fort Zumwalt West in the St. Louis area.  He ran a 7.50 60 and a 4.46 home-to-first, one of the top LHH times of the event.  He has an exit velo of 81 mph.  At the plate, athletic set up, minimal load, loose hands, path is flat throught he zone, hard and solid contact during batting practice.  In the outfield, 79 mph positional velo, loose over the top arm action, arm works, momentum through catch, quick catch and throw, fluid footwork, mostly accurate throws. On the mound, He has a loose over the top arm slot, in line stride down the mound, repeats delivery, simple, fastball at 76-81 mph, breaking ball 63-66 mph, 12-to-6 action, threw a high number of strikes with both pitches, throw with regular effort.

2/15/16 - Mize is a 6-foot-2 159-pound left-handed hitting first baseman in Missouri’s 2017 class.   He has an 80 mph exit velo and runs a 4.34 home to first. At the plate, starts with wide stance, short stride, no wasted movement, level path to extension, has bat whip, gap-to-gap approach.  On the infield, 77 mph positional velo at 1B, loose over the top arm action, active feet gaining momentum to throw, plays through ball, accurate throws.

2/15/16 - Mize is a 6-foot-2 159-pound left-handed hitting outfielder in Missouri’s 2017 class.  He has an 80 mph exit velo and runs a 4.34 home to first. At the plate, starts with wide stance, short stride, no wasted movement, level path to extension, has bat whip, gap-to-gap approach.  In the outfield, over the top release, crow hop, attacks ball with quick feet, clean transfer, 83 mph positional velo.

2/16/15 - Mize is a slim 6-foot 150-pound left-handed hitting first baseman, offensively 79 mph exit velo, balanced stance, short stride, level path, line drive to mostly pull gap, quick hands, runs 4.37 home-to-first, at first base, quick feet, plays thru the ball, loose arm action, arm works, accurate throws, 71 mph positional velo. Oin the outfield, high three-quarters arm slot, plays behind the ball, clean exchange, crow hop, plays thru the catch, 78 mph positional velo, arm work, loose arm action, projectable frame and arm action will lead to increased velo.

10/18/14 - Mize is a slim 6-foot 140-pound left-handed hitting outfielder.  OF positional velo of 73 mph, high ¾ release, moves to ball with purpose, quick exchange, loose arm action. At 1B, 68 mph positional velo, high ¾ arm slot, quick feet, clean exchange, soft hands At the plate, 74 mph exit velo, athletic set up, smooth/simple load, line drive approach mostly pull side, quick bat speed, 4.94 home-to-first.  Also plays 1B.
