2/10/18 - Silvey is a 6-foot-1 195-pound right-handed hitting catcher in Missouri’s 2019 class.  He ran a 7.69 60 and has an 83 mph exit velocity.  At the plate, balanced stance, short stride, body stays under control, hands control the bat, gap to gap line drives, solid consistent contact during hitting evaluations.  Behind the plate, 2.22 to 2.24-pop times, 67 mph positional velocity,  square set up in feet, over the top release, short arm circle, feet and hands work together, short jab step, clean exchange, soft hands, mostly accurate throws. 

6/13/17 - Silvey is a strong 6-foot-1 195-pound right-handed hitting catcher in Missouri’s 2019 class.  He ran a 8.35 laser timed 60 and a 5.07 home to first.  He has an exit veto of 85 mph. At the late, balanced set up, smooth rhythm, minimal load, in line stride, swing produced pull to middle line drives during batting practice.  Behind the plate, pop times between 2.17 and 2.23-seconds, 68 mph positional velo, over the top release, quick exchange, fluid footwork, mostly accurate throws. Doubled to left field in game action, flew out twice.

2/20/17 - Silvey is a 6-foot-1 195-pound right-handed hitting catcher and right-handed pitcher in Missouri’s 2019 class.  He ran a 5.22 home to first and has a 79 mph exit velo. At the plate, wide base, short stride, swing produced pull side contact during hitting evaluations.  Behind the plate, pop times between 2.08 and 2.20-seconds, 71 mph positional velo, over the top release, fluid transfer, footwork creates momentum though the catch, moves well to block, throws flash carry, somewhat accurate around the bag. On the mound, Silvey worked fastball at 71-74 mph, over the top release, body stays under control, smooth tempo in delivery, breaking ball has 11-to-5 action, gradual break, change up at 65-66 mph, straight, repeats delivery
