At 6-foot-3, 185-pounds, Miller is an upside athlete we’ve seen pitch in the upper-80s with more to come in the tank, pairing his heater with a tightly spun low-70s breaking ball.
Positional Profile: SS/RHP
Body: 6-2, 175-pounds. Physical and athletic frame with present strength.
Hit: RHH. Neutral stance with an athletic posture. Hands get set at shoulder height with a high back elbow and tight to the body. Strong weight stack onto the back leg with a quick two tap stride system with good rhythm and balance throughout the swing. Lower half works linearly through the zone into a firm front leg. Short and compact swing with quick hands through the zone and good overall bat speed. Pull side approach and gets good extension.
Power: 88.87 max exit velocity, averaged 83.6 mph. 334’ max distance. Pull side power potential with good extension and routes to the inside pitch.
Arm: RH. INF - 93 mph. High 3/4 arm slot with a clean arm action.
Defense: Attacks the ball with a feel for routes around the ball and active feet. Fields the ball out in front of the body with good glove action and soft hands. Clean exchanges out of the glove. Fields the ball well on the move.
Run: 6.75 runner in the 60.
Delivery: Quick and simple footwork around the rubber. Works to a mid height balance point with smooth rhythm and pace. Slight glove tap at times at the top of the delivery. Works from the middle of the rubber and strides directionally down the center of the mound with good momentum headed towards the target.
Arm Action: RH. High 3/4 arm slot with a clean arm action and good hand speed.
FB: T89.71, 84.52-88.02 mph. Good tilting action with some life through the zone. T2247, 2097 average rpm.
CB: 71.15-73.39 mph. Good downward shape with tight spin and late life. T2134, 2059 average rpm.
CH: 70.87-75.02 mph. Slightly slower hand speed with some arm side fading action. T1979, 1571 average rpm.

Hit: RHH. At the plate starts with a neutral stance and athletic posture. Hands get set quickly into position just below shoulder height with a high back lebow and tucked into the body. Uses a quick two tap stride with strong push off the back leg into a firm front leg. Hands work quickly through the zone and shows some bat speed with good extension. Maintains balance throughout the swing. Has some strength at contact.
Power: 90 mph exit velocity in BP.
Arm: RH. INF-89 mph. High ¾ arm slot with a clean and quick arm action.
Defense: In the infield attacks the ball with smooth rhythm and feel for working around the ball. Fields the ball with some glove action and soft hands. Clean exchanges out of the glove and maintains body control throughout the process.
Run: 6.81 runner in the 60.
