Below you’ll find a preview of each team in attendance and a handful of players on each group that’re worth following throughout the weekend, with more than 10,000 words in total.

Note: rosters were pulled from the Creekside Tournament website

17U CAVALIERS - MAROON

This Cavaliers team nearly took home the Creekside Summer Championships 17U title, falling in the championship game to the Royals Scout Team. They’re back and eager to compete this weekend and bring a group featuring a handful of top prospects in the Kansas senior class that’re still uncommitted.

OF Harry Tryban (Olathe East, 2023) and INF Jamon Beck (Springhill, 2023) both stood out to our scouts for the Cavs this past weekend. Tryban runs a true 6.50 in the 60-yard dash and those wheels absolutely translate to his game. He’s a high level athlete with bat speed and a short, compact swing at the plate to pair. Beck’s savvy, sure-handed actions on the infield alone make him a follow, but he consistently barreled baseballs to the opposite field throughout last weekend’s tournament. Given what he brings to the table defensively, Beck’s advancements offensively have him trending upward as the summer circuit begins.

Harry Tryban

On the mound, RHP Donovan Johnson (Spring Hill, 2023) and RHP JT Adams (Olathe North, 2023) anchor this rotation. Johnson twirled a gem for the Cavaliers this past weekend, running a lively fastball up to 87 mph with more left in the tank. Adams stands at a lanky 6-foot-2, 175-pounds and he was one of our biggest winners this winter, topping at 89 mph in his ‘pen at the MOKAN Preseason All-State.

ARLINGTON A’S BRAVES

Everything’s bigger in Texas, and that certainly applies to the size and physicality scattered throughout this Arlington A’s Braves’ roster. There’s plenty of noteworthy names, starting with left-handed hitting OF Riley Graham (Central, 2023), who’s an ultra-physical 6-foot-3, 205-pound left-handed hitter with juice, and fellow left-handed hitting OF Jackson Hill (Keller, 2023) is also a projectable follow, listed at 6-foot-2, 165-pounds. LHP Grant Young (Keller, 2023) had a productive swing with Keller and there’s more in the tank for the 6-foot-3, 175-pound southpaw, too. RHP Matthew Clark (Aledo, 2023) has bumped his fastball up to 87 mph in the past and there’s presumably more to come as he continues to fill out a 6-foot-4, 170-pound frame. Listed at 6-foot-6, 180-pounds with long, whippy levers, RHP/3B Connor Henk (V.R. Eaton, 2023) boasts yet another high-upside stature on this team.

BREW STATE BASEBALL ACADEMY

Making the trip to Creekside from the Milwaukee area, this Brew State Baseball Academy roster has plenty of uncommitted senior follows. OF Nick Argersinger (Westosha Central, 2023) provides advanced center field defense with fluid routes to the baseball, serving as a top-of-the-order left-handed hitter with advanced bat-to-ball skills. INF Marco Falletti (Wilmot, 2023) oozes physical tools, featuring some of the loudest raw power and pure athleticism in Wisconsin’s incoming senior class. He was a standout at The Rock and the Badger State Battle last summer, hammering multiple home runs and pacing his team to tournament titles. INF Keli Grennier (Menomonee Falls, 2023) is a 6.79 runner in the 60-yard dash that helped lead Menomonee Falls to the state playoffs as one of their more reliable bats, while UTL Crete Slattery (Badger, 2023) has plenty of physical projection left to come on a 6-foot-3, 190-pound thin-levered frame. One of the top prospects in Wisconsin’s 2024 class, C Lincoln Ascher (Kettle Moraine) will travel down with the older crew for this weekend. He’s a physically built 6-foot-2, 210-pound backstop with bat strength that’s also an advanced receiver behind the plate.

Nick Argersinger

Brew State will trot out a handful of quality arms throughout the weekend, starting with RHP Zach Wolfram (Menomonee Falls, 2023). The ace of this staff, Wolfram represented Team Wisconsin at the PBR Future Games last summer and helped lead Menomonee Falls to the state playoffs, twirling a gem in the quarterfinals against Westosha Central. He’s built at a sturdy 6-foot-3, 230-pounds and was up to 88 mph last summer with feel for a tight low-70s slider. Wolfram’s high school teammate, RHP Grant Schultz (Menomonee Falls, 2023) has whippy arm speed and an upside 6-foot-2, 175-pound frame to pair, bumping his fastball up to 87 mph this winter with two breaking balls that average 2,500+ RPM. 3B/RHP Tyler Meyer (Wauwatosa East, 2023) owns intrigue on both sides of the ball, standing at 6-foot-5, 210-pounds. Meyer improved his offensive game this past off-season and started to tap into more power at the plate, while also hopping on the mound and touching 86 mph with his fastball.

BUILDING CHAMPIONS UA 17U WHITE

There’s a handful of interesting names on this Building Champions roster, including OF Davis Nielson (Olathe South, 2023), who represented Team Select at the Future Games last summer. There, Nielson ran a 6.91 in the 60-yard dash and owns above-average bat strength for his age, peaking at 96.4 mph during BP at LakePoint. OF Brody Hufft (Park Hill South, 2023) is another outfielder of interest on this roster. He stands at a projectable 6-foot-2, 180-pounds with whippy upside levers and he ran a 6.68 60-yard dash last fall. INF Jackson Blaising (St. James Academy, 2023) has above-average arm strength from the left side of the infield, while RHP Tanner Giltner (Blue Valley Southwest) pumps a low-to-mid-80s fastball from a thick 6-foot-2, 205-pound frame.

CANGELOSI SPARKS NORTH - BLACK

The top prospect on this Cangelosi Sparks North team is RHP Calvin Proskey (Oak Park-River Forest; UC Santa Barbara). At 6-foot-2, 155-pounds with lanky thin levers attached, Proskey owns one of the highest ceilings in the class. We’ve seen him up to 87 mph in the past, but the ease and fluidity in which he works down the mound suggest there’s certainly more to come as he continues to physically mature.

Calvin Proskey

There’s certainly other names-to-know on this team, all of which are uncommitted. INF Troy Stukenberg (Lyons Township, 2023) was a winner at this year’s O’Hare ID, running a 6.63 in the 60-yard dash and taking an all-around loud round of BP. Stukenberg averaged 94.2 mph off the barrel while putting up elite-tier Blast Motion metric numbers as well, showcasing his high-end athleticism throughout his workout. C Jack Rozmus (York, 2023) impressed defensively at this year’s Preseason All-State, averaging pops in the 1.98-to-2.03 range with accuracy to the bag.  INF Tyler O’Connor (Wheaton North, 2023) is a quick-twitch athlete that’s a 6.82 runner in the 60-yard dash with sure-handed actions on the infield. RHP Lucas Bormann (York, 2023) was up to 86 mph at the O’Hare Preseason ID this winter and showed feel for both his secondaries, while INF/RHP Dominic Jacoby (Taft, 2023) has loose upside levers attached to a projectable 6-foot, 165-pound frame.

ELITE BASEBALL TRAINING 2023 - HALES

This Elite Baseball Training team doesn’t lack size or physicality, with several noteworthy frames scattered across the roster. They’re led by INF Ryan Niedzwiedz (West Aurora, 2023), who’s one of the top bats still on the market in the Illinois’ 2023 class. At 6-foot, 190-pounds, Niedzwiedz impacts the ball with true ferocity from the left side of the plate and he was arguably the top prospect in attendance amongst a loaded crop of prospects at the Preseason All-State event in February. Though he likely profiles at a corner spot down the road, Niedzwiedz’s bat has all the makings of a true impact middle-of-the-order type at the collegiate level.

Ryan Niedzwiedz

The triplet trio of INF Josh Polubinski (Oswego East, 2023), OF Mike Polubinski (Oswego East, 2023), and 1B Zach Polubinski (Oswego East, 2023) make up three physical athletes on this roster that have all made noteworthy strides offensively over the past calendar year. INF Taylor Kujak (Plainfield Central, 2023) was a winner from this year’s Aurora Preseason ID, taking one of the day’s better rounds and blasting his furthest batted ball 359 feet with a peak exit velocity of 97.1 mph. On the mound, RHP Kyler Kennen (Jacobs, 2023) catches your attention with a 6-foot-6, 190-pound frame and fluid movement patterns downhill, bumping his fastball up to 84 mph in our last look in June of 2021.

FT. WORTH CATS BLACK

Another team from Texas making their way to Creekside, the Fort Worth Cats have some interesting names on their roster. INF Camden Abercrombie (Fort Worth Country Day, 2023) looks the part on the infield, and he’s built at an upside 6-foot, 165-pounds. 1B Tyler Guidry (Granbury, 2023) stands at a proportionally strong 6-foot-3, 195-pounds and wields a loud left-handed bat with juice to the pull-side. Perhaps the most interesting prospect on this roster is Guidry’s high school teammate OF Braxton Heffernan (2024), who’s playing up an age level and stands at 6-foot-4, 210-pounds. Heffernan swings an upside left-handed bat with plenty of power potential and he hit a handful of home runs this spring for his high school squad.

GBA 17U - NAVY

Hailing from Wentzville, this GBA 17U squad features several top 2023 and 2024 prospects from both Missouri and the southern region of Illinois.

This team will trot out a lot of talent and a lot of it starts on the infield dirt. INF Bryer Arview (Civic Memorial, 2023) represented Team Illinois at the Future Games last summer and he’s one of the top left-handed bats in the state’s incoming senior class. A 6.75 runner in the 60-yard dash, Arview swings a clean, compact bat from the left side and will provide above-average defensive value at either shortstop or second base at the next level. Fresh off leading the Edwardsville Tigers to the IHSA 4A state championship, INF Cole Funkhouser (2023) and INF Kayden Jennings (2023) bring advanced defensive capabilities at up-the-middle positions to this GBA roster. Funkhouser is a scrappy, hyper competitive at-bat each time he steps into the box, while Jennings oozes athleticism and fluidity throughout all aspects of his game. Dipping down to the 2024 group, INF Tytus Cissell (Francis Howell; Missouri) played a key role on a Vikings’ team that made a deep run into the Missouri 6A playoffs and he, like his counterparts, is a high level defender that’s also a 6.76 runner and switch hits.

Bryer Arview

Both OF Kaden Griffitts (Williamsville, 2023) and 1B Riley Iffrig (Edwardsville, 2023; Indiana State) joined Arview on Team Illinois at last summer’s Future Games. Griffitts is an arrow-up multi-sport athlete that’s a 6.78 runner with plenty of upside attached to a left-handed stroke geared towards elevating the baseball. Iffrig was a key contributor for the Tigers’ in their championship run, serving as a middle-of-the-order bat that’s capable of providing thump from the left side of the plate.

Kaden Griffitts

The talent on this team extends to the mound and the arms they’ll trot out give them a chance at competing in any given game. The one-two punch from Father McGivney of RHP Jackson Rodgers (2023; Western Kentucky) and RHP Gabe Smith (2023) headline this rotation on paper. Rodgers committed to the Hilltoppers last month and brings upside to the mound, especially should he fill out his 6-foot-2, 170-pound frame. He ran his fastball up to 87 mph at the Illinois Preseason All-State in February, complimenting it with three quality secondaries. Smith is more physically built than his counterpart, boasting an imposing 6-foot-5, 220-pound frame with easy movement downhill patterns for his size. Still uncommitted, he threw a hard-running 88-89 mph fastball from a low slot at the Preseason All-State this winter, syncing it with a sweeping low-70s breaking ball.

Perhaps one of the biggest winners across this year’s spring circuit was RHP Alec Marchetto (Edwardsville, 2024), who saw important time on the mound in key situations for the state champions. Marchetto attacks hitters with a heavy 86-89 mph fastball that stays down in the zone, and he’s comfortable spinning a tighter high-70s slider around the zone in any given count. At 6-foot-1, 210-pounds, Marchetto’s just starting to scratch the surface of what he could be on the mound and is amongst the top uncommitted arms in the Illinois’ 2024 class.

Alec Marchetto

GRB RAYS IL - GREEN

Expect to see plenty of talent when the GRB Rays Illinois - Green squad takes the turf this weekend, as this roster is made up of several players that hail from the Fox Valley Conference, which is routinely amongst the best in Illinois.

Pitching is their strength on paper and they’ll roll out quality arm after quality arm each game. RHP Andrew Ressler (Huntley, 2023) made the trip to LakePoint with Team Illinois last summer and recently decommitted from Butler, putting one of the state’s top incoming senior arms back on the market. Ressler’s fastball sits in the high-80s with some upper-quadrant life and he spins a firm slider at 2,600+ RPMs on average. RHP Anthony Edge (Jacobs, 2023; Bradley) is a bulldog on the mound with mid-80s heat and an above-average changeup, while LHP Lucas Foley (Lake Forest, 2023), who recently committed to Valparaiso, owns a relatively high ceiling on the mound from the left side.

Andrew Ressler

One of the biggest winners from this winter was LHP Chandler Alderman (North Boone, 2023), as the 6-foot-4, 210-pound multi-sport star displayed an uptick in stuff. He pitched in the high-80s with his fastball and flashed swing-and-miss potential with a sharp high-70s slider. LHP Lleyton Grubich (McHenry, 2023) attacks the strike zone with a mid-to-high-80s fastball and sweeps a slider to pair, helping pitch the Warriors to their first ever state playoffs appearance this past spring. LHP Ian Boal (Johnsburg, 2023) has always spun his breaking ball at an above-average rate, while also peaking at 87 mph in a ‘pen this winter. Toss RHP Parker Schuring (Huntley, 2023) into the mix as a thick, sturdy uncommitted arm that’s into the mid-80s with his fastball.

Chandler Alderman

Behind all of these arms are several noteworthy position prospects. OF Brayden Bakes (Huntley, 2023; Wichita State) exploded for the Red Raiders this spring and continued to show a dynamic power-speed profile attached to a physical left-handed stroke. INF J.R. Nelson (Stevenson, 2023) can really defend at shortstop, while left-handed hitting INF Ryan Quinlan (Huntley, 2023) packs a punch from the left side and runs a 6.67 60. C/RHP Cooper Cohn (McHenry, 2023) has legitimate two-way potential, owning some of the state’s loudest catch-and-throw skills from behind the dish and topping at 88 mph on the mound. Few have the sheer strength that INF Christian Graves (Jacobs, 2023) possesses, as the 6-foot-2, 210-pound right-handed hitter blasted a baseball at 102 mph this winter, averaging 95 mph off the barrel. OF Joey Garlin (Huntley, 2023), OF Nicholas Gottfried (Jacobs, 2023), and CIF Sheppard Graf (Lake Forest, 2023) are all names to follow on this roster, too.

Ryan Quinlan

GRB RAYS MKE - GREEN

Making their way down from Wisconsin, this GRB Rays roster features some names-to-know from the Milwaukee area. Their offense figures to be led by C Dominic Kibler (New Berlin West, 2023; Kent State) and OF/RHP Garrett Kay (Waterford, 2023; Illinois-Chicago), two of the top left-handed hitters in the Badger State’s incoming senior class. INF Eddie Rynders (Wisconsin Lutheran, 2024; Kent State) will be playing up an age level this weekend, and the 6-foot-2, 175-pound infielder holds tremendous upside on both sides of the ball as he fills out his thin levers.

Dominic Kibler

INF Brady Davidson (St. Joseph, 2023) and INF Connor Olson (Arrowhead, 2023) have proven themselves as follow uncommitted infielders over the last calendar year. Davidson helped propel his high school squad to a state championship as a sophomore two years ago and has consistently hit in front of our scouts, making quality contact from the left side. Olson is a tooled up 6-foot, 185-pound athlete who ran a 6.80 60-yard dash this past winter at the West Milwaukee Preseason ID, reached a 98.2 mph max exit velocity in BP, and was up to 89 mph across the infield.

Connor Olson

RHP/INF Noah Dreier (Brookfield Central, 2023) and LHP Michael Carpenter (Arrowhead, 2023) pop as uncommitted arms to note on this roster. Dreier’s a savvy defender at shortstop, but his ultimate upside lies on the mound where he impressed last year at the Future Games with Team Wisconsin. We’ve seen Dreier’s fastball reach an 88.7 mph high and he’s always shown an aptitude for spinning his breaking balls, ripping both a curveball and slider at 2,500+ RPMs on average. Carpenter was an integral part of Arrowhead’s deep pitching staff this spring and his ability to throw three pitches for strikes is a big reason why. The 6-foot-1, 185-pound southpaw ran his fastball up to 88 mph during an in-game look this spring, pitching in the mid-80s with feel for the zone.

Michael Carpenter

GRB RAYS WI - GREEN

There’s never been a shortage of talent on the GRB Rays Green roster and this year’s group is certainly no different. This roster features four players inside the top-12 prospects in Wisconsin’s 2023 class and five names that donned Team Wisconsin’s jersey at the PBR Future Games.

INF Cal Fisher (Deerfield, 2023; Notre Dame), RHP Cole Selvig (Regis, 2023; Texas), and C Evan Gustafson (Altoona, 2023; Oregon State) are all nationally-ranked names committed to successful Power Five programs on this roster. OF Caleb Karll (Madison West, 2023; Ohio) emerged a major winner from last summer’s circuit, showcasing an advanced middle-of-the-order skill-set at the plate and athleticism attached to a sturdy 6-foot-1, 195-pound frame.

Cole Selvig

INF Jake Schaffner (Janesville Craig, 2023) and C Maxwell Kalk (Kimberly, 2023) are arrow-up uncommitted names as we head into the weekend. Schaffner batted over .500 this spring for a talented Janesville Craig squad and he’s started to consistently make contact from the left side, all while bringing 6.78 speed to the table. Kalk’s improvements in all aspects of his game are noteworthy, as the 6-foot, 190-pound left-handed hitter has started to impact the ball with more authority while showcasing cleaner defensive actions at the Madison Preseason ID this winter, too. Committed to Miami of Ohio, INF Justin Gorski (Rockford Christian, 2023) is a scrappy, spark plug type atop this lineup with impact speed and defense to pair.

There’s an abundance of uncommitted talent on the mound on this roster, too. RHP Quinn Falish (De Pere, 2023) reached an 89 mph high with his fastball from a cleaner, more polished operation at the Milwaukee Preseason ID this winner. The 6-foot-2, 210-pound Falish showed improved feel for both his secondaries, particularly a tighter-spun slider with swing-and-miss upside. RHP Chayce Osterhaus (Markesan, 2023) is coming off a ridiculously impressive spring where he earned all-state honors and, like others on this team, was a member of Team Wisconsin at the Future Games last summer. He’s a thin 6-foot, 160-pound athlete with wiry arm strength and a quality slider to pair. RHP Roman Trapani (Eau Claire Memorial, 2023) threw well for the Old Abes’ this spring and is off to a strong start this summer, pumping his fastball in the mid-to-high-80s while throwing all of his secondaries for strikes. LHP Riley Peterson (Verona Area, 2023) was a winner at the Madison Preseason ID this winter after the 6-foot, 180-pound southpaw popped an 87 mph high with his fastball and spun a low-70s breaking ball at a 2,200+ RPM average.

GREAT LAKES BASEBALL ACADEMY - 17U NATIONAL

The Lumberjacks have some real juice on this roster, including three prospects who are firmly etched at the top of their respective classes: RHP Trevor Lee (East Ridge, 2023; Wichita State), C Drew Rogers (Mounds View, 2024; Georgia Tech), and RHP Keenan Mork (River Falls, 2023). Lee has proven to be one of the Midwest’s top arms in this class for some time, oozing projection attached to an imposing 6-foot-5, 225-pound frame. He was up to 90 mph this winter, holding 88-89 mph throughout his ‘pen. Rogers comes from a baseball family, as his older brother was also a top prospect in Minnesota and he, like his sibling, ambushes baseballs with plenty of bat strength from the right side. Mork, who’s a top uncommitted arm in Wisconsin, anchored River Falls on the mound in arguably the state’s toughest conference this spring, featuring a lively high-80s fastball and a true swing-and-miss breaking ball to pair.

Drew Rogers

There’s more high end talent on this squad as you continue to work your way down the list. LHP Andrew Rakow (Champlin Park, 2023) features a high-80s heater that averaged 2,400+ RPM in a ‘pen this winter, complimenting it with a curveball and changeup. INF Weston Russel (St. Anthony Village, 2023) swings a twitchy right-handed bat with steady actions on the infield, while 3B Ryan Oberstar (Champlin Park, 2023) has long, whippy levers attached to an upside 6-foot-3, 175-pound frame. Both CIF Reagan Reeder (Anoka, 2023) and RHP Mason Stroh (Red River, 2023) standout physically on the field. Reeder swings one of the strongest right-handed bats in Minnesota, standing at 6-foot-5, 215-pounds and blistering baseballs at a 98.3 mph peak this winter. Stroh joins this squad from North Dakota and stands at a highly projectable 6-foot-5, 200-pounds.

HITTERS 2023

This entire Hitters 2023 team is loaded with high-end talent, and they continue to cement themselves as a premier program in the Midwest. Several members of this team are top prospects in their respective state, and they represented either Team Illinois or Team Wisconsin at the PBR Future Games last August. They’re sound up the middle with INF Alex Alicea (St. Thomas More, 2023; Louisville) and INF Jack Counsell (Whitefish Bay, 2023; Michigan), who provide plenty of stability on the dirt's most important positions. Both C Thomas Curry (Arrowhead, 2023; Missouri) and C TJ Schuyler (Antioch, 2023; Indiana) operate behind the plate as physical right-handed hitters with above-average catch-and-throw skills to pair. C/RHP Michael Clarkson (Loyola Academy, 2023) should factor into that catching mix and he’s a strong 6-foot-2, 225-pound athlete that also owns advanced arm strength behind the plate and was up to 86 mph on the mound this winter. 1B Aiden Schenk (2023) had a productive spring for Janesville Craig and he’s a physical 6-foot-1, 210-pound left-handed bat with juice that profiles as a middle-of-the-order type at the next level. INF Charalambos Nicoloudes (Naperville Central, 2023; Illinois-Chicago) is another name-to-know infielder on this roster that donned the Team Illinois' jersey at last year's Future Games, committing to Illinois-Chicago shortly afterwards.

Aiden Schenk

Roaming the outfield for this squad are two more uncommitted names worth highlighting: OF Chris Calico (West Salem, 2023) and OF Gianni Royer (Lake Forest, 2023). Calico has loud tools attached to a muscular 5-foot-11, 180-pound frame, running a 6.78 and reaching a 97 mph max exit velocity while also showing clean actions in the outfield. Royer’s been off to a strong start this summer, and like Calico he’s also an impressive athlete, running a 6.56 60-yard dash this winter, topping at 90 mph from the outfield, and blasting his hardest ball at 96.3 mph in BP. A representative of Team Wisconsin at the Future Games, OF JT Kelenic (Catholic Memorial, 2023; Grand Canyon) owns plenty of upside attached to a 6-foot-4, 200-pound frame and, like his teammates, also has loud tools across the board.

Chris Calico

The firepower on this team extends to the mound, with multiple high-end prospects set to toe the rubber for Hitters throughout the tournament. RHP Adam Behrens (Warren Township, 2023; Arizona State) and RHP Thomas Burns (Hortonville, 2023; Arizona State) are both nationally ranked names that verbally committed to the Sun Devils this year. RHP Evan Shapiro (University School, 2023; Kent State) and RHP Zachary Olson (Muskego, 2023; Hawaii) are too more committed arms on this team, while the aforementioned Schuyler, RHP Adison Tevz (New Berlin Eisenhower, 2023), and RHP Nick Lacson (Barrington, 2023) are all candidates to see time on the rubber this weekend.

Adam Behrens

IMPACT SPORTS ACADEMY ROYAL

Coming down from the Green Bay area, this ISA Royal squad has several players that have shown well over the past few months to our PBR Wisconsin staff.

INF Benje Hencke (West De Pere, 2023) may be one of the toolsiest athletes in the entire state, as the 6-foot, 185-pound uncommitted senior put on a show at the Green Bay Preseason ID. Hencke started his day by running a 6.64 in the 60-yard dash, recorded a 98 mph max exit velocity, threw an 87 mph high across the infield, and was up to 88 mph off the mound. INF Garrett Hietpas (Appleton East, 2023) and 1B Eli Zollar (Ashwaubenon, 2023) are two more name-to-know position players on this team. Hietpas is a quality all-around player that contributes on the field in multiple ways, while Zollar’s sheer bat strength is in the upper-echelon of prospects in the Badger State.

Benje Hencke

ISA is deep on the mound as well, with a handful of quality arms on this staff. RHP Cole Bensen (Bay Port, 2023) anchored the Pirates’ pitching staff en route to a state semifinals appearance. Bensen ran a 6.86 60-yard dash this winter and bumped his fastball up to 87 mph while showing improved feel for the zone with his breaking ball. RHP Brayden Deering (Kimberly, 2023) throws all three of his pitches for strikes from a clean, polished operation that suggests more velocity is yet to come down the road. The same can be said for LHP Jeremiah Jehnke (Winneconne, 2023), who’s a fluid downhill mover and high pitchability southpaw with feel for three pitches, including an advanced changeup. Committed to Illinois State, RHP Deuce Musial II (Notre Dame Academy, 2023) owns plenty of upside attached to a long limbed 6-foot-6, 185-pound frame, and he was up to 86 mph on the mound last March when we saw him.

For a complete look at the Impact Sports Academy Royal roster, click HERE.

INDIANA BULLS BLACK

The Indiana Bulls are planning on trotting out several arms to the mound, starting with RHP Jacob Culp (Westfield, 2023) and RHP Ricky Howell (Pendleton Heights, 2023). Culp’s been up to 92 mph before with his fastball, pitching in the high-80s with occasional cutting action and a high-arching low-70s curveball to pair. Howell’s arm strength equals his rotation mate, as he’s pitched at 90-91 mph with his fastball in the past from a 6-foot-1, 180-pound frame.

Jacob Culp

RHP Bryce Riggs (Noblesville, 2023) is another arm on this staff to highlight that’s also still on the market. Riggs’ fastball recently touched 89 mph at an event on June 21st, and he complimented it on that day with three different secondary offerings. At 6-foot-2, 194-pounds, RHP Benjamin Mazur (Lafayette Central Catholic, 2023) owns an advanced feel to pitch on the mound with an 85-87 mph fastball and upside as his projectable frame continues to fill out.

Bryce Riggs

INSIDE EDGE (HARRIS)

There’s some toolsy prospects that should roam the outfield for this Inside Edge group. OF Jacob Bittner (St. Thomas Aquinas, 2023) is a 6.82 runner in the 60-yard dash, while OF Aiden Doll (Blue Springs South, 2023) was up to 94 mph from the outfield and 88 mph on the mound this winter. OF Grant Lambeth’s (Lees Summit North, 2023) athleticism at the plate stands out, as the 5-foot-11, 180-pound switch hitter got off several loud hacks at this winter’s MOKAN Preseason All-State. CIF Cullen Kleinsasser (Lee’s Summit West, 2023) boasts a physically imposing 6-foot-4, 220-pound frame with bat strength and hand speed from the right side. C Caden Paxton (Windsor, 2023) was a winner from our St. Louis Open on June 15th, and RHP Jake Trueblood (Blue Springs, 2023) is off to a strong start to the summer circuit.

KC PRODIGY PROSPECTS

Made up of mostly local area athletes, the Prodigy have some highlight-worthy uncommitted names on their roster.

OF Dane Moberly (Liberty, 2023) has a projectable 6-foot-2, 175-pound with a handsy left-handed stroke and whip off the barrel. The same physical projection can be attributed to the 6-foot-4, 180-pound frame that 3B Austin Dahlberg (Oak Park, 2023) possesses and the right-handed hitting senior has intrigued our scouts in the past. INF Bryan Wilhoite (Park Hill South, 2023) repeats a short right-handed swing that works direct to contact with up-the-middle feel. OF Sean Combs (Liberty North, 2023; Emporia State) swings with ease and rhythm at the plate, while 1B/OF Lucas Dillman (Excelsior Springs, 2023) has upside at the plate from the left side.

MAC N SEITZ 17U COOPER

We just saw this Mac N Seitz team at the Creekside Summer Championships and they impressed our staff, especially with how they competed against a tough draw in pool play.

The top of their order is led by two high-end athletes in OF Jonathan Ludwig (Staley, 2023) and MIF Joe Connolly (Omaha Skutt, 2023; Iowa). Both are plus runners for their age and swing left-handed while providing above-average defensive value at middle of the field spots. OF Brady Kern (Lawrence Free State, 2023) is another name you’ll see atop this lineup, and the 6-foot-1, 185-pound uncommitted outfielder showed well at the plate last weekend. They’re sound behind the plate with C Kolby Wheeler (Paola, 2023) and C Cole Chace (Blue Springs South, 2023; Indiana State) captaining this staff, both of which are top-40 prospects in their respective states.

Cole Chace

While both INF/RHP Cole Stucky (Rockhurst, 2023) and LHP/OF Liam Bryan (Blue Springs South, 2023) are intriguing follows at the plate, they’re equally as enticing as prospects on the mound, too. We’ve heard positive reports on each of them in that regard, and we’re eager to see them in action yet again this upcoming weekend.

MARUCCI MIDWEST - PWP 2023

Heading up from Oklahoma to Creekside this weekend is Marucci Midwest’s PWP, who’s roster is home to a few enticing prospects that’re still uncommitted.

You’ll be hard-pressed to find more than a handful of athletes in the entire country that have the athletic capabilities that OF Jack Williams (Bixby, 2023) does. At 6-foot-4, 210-pounds, Williams is a 6.75 runner that’s posted ridiculously high hand and bat speed metrics to go along with a 105.3 mph max exit velocity. He’s been up to 88 mph from the outfield and has loud stuff on the mound as well, pitching in the upper-80s with his fastball. It’s a truly explosive array of tools from the former PBR Future Games participant, who’s a top-20 prospect in the Oklahoma 2023 class.

Jack Williams

C Cooper Moore (Bixby, 2023; Kansas) stands out on this squad as a nationally-ranked prospect that also represented Team Oklahoma at the Future Games. Moore has one of the quickest arms behind the plate in the entire country, exploding out of the crouch and posting 179-to-1.84 pop times in a workout setting. He'll hop on the mound and run his fastball up past the 90 mph mark as well. Ty Walls. is a two-way follow with noteworthy athleticism who started to hit for more thump off the barrel towards the end of the high school season. Then there’s LHP/1B Owen Bailor (Bixby, 2023), who boasts a physical 6-foot-5, 220-pound frame with a mid-80s fastball and feel to hit from the left side of the plate.

MARUCCI MIDWEST - VICTUS

Marucci’s Midwest squad has a handful of talented prospects, starting with 1B Case Sanderson (Nevada, 2023; Nebraska) who was at the Future Games with Team Missouri last summer. Committed to Nebraska, Sanderson is a physical 6-foot-2, 200-pound prospect with one of the state’s loudest left-handed bats, registering exit velocities as high as 100.4 mph. INF Evan Vienhage (Kickapoo, 2023) had a productive spring at the plate for a Kickapoo team that made it to state. 3B Mark Ross II (Glendale, 2024) and C Jackson Rovig (Marshfield, 2023) are two more names to highlight on this roster. Ross displayed pull-side pop and some physicality in the batter’s box at an event this winter, while Rovig brings a 6-foot-3, 190-pound projectable frame to the field. On the mound, LHP Kolton Kennon (Bentonville West, 2023) and RHP Payton Wehner (Lebanon, 2023) are two projectable prospects to follow on the weekend.

Case Sanderson

MASH 17U BLACK

Heading south to Creekside from Minnesota are the MASH, who make up a small contingent of teams from the ‘Land of 10,000 Lakes’ that we’ll catch this weekend.

The strength of this MASH team appears to lie on the mound, where they’re more than confident in each arm they’ll trot out this weekend. RHP Ezra Formaneck (Eastview, 2023; St. Thomas) is one of the state’s top right-handed pitching prospects. The 6-foot, 175-pound strong-bodied Tommies' commit has run his fastball up into the high-80s previously and can land both his breaking balls for strikes. RHP Luke Vitt (Edina, 2023) remains uncommitted and, like Formaneck, is also a high-follow prospect in Minnesota’s incoming senior group. Vitt’s fastball played at 87-88 mph this winter and it's likely that more is on the way, especially as he fills out his 6-foot-2, 200-pound frame.

Luke Vitt

RHP Samuel Marek (Chanhassen, 2023) has upside on the mound attached to a well-proportioned 6-foot-2, 180-pound frame. Marek was up to 87 mph this winter and spins a 68-72 mph curveball with depth from a high arm slot. RHP Carter Theisen (Rosemount, 2023) doesn’t lack size, bringing a 6-foot-5, 220-pound frame to the mound with a mid-to-high-80s heater to pair. LHP Jack Thompson (Rosemount, 2023) pounds the zone with three pitches, including a mid-80s fastball, hard-running changeup, and curveball that averages 2,300+ RPM.

Samuel Marek

Behind all these arms is a steady set of position players. INF George Dittman (Holy Angels, 2023) has steady, sure-handed actions on the infield and should see time up the middle. 3B Cameron Richardson (Rosemount, 2023) generates natural loft at the plate with a right-handed stroke engineered to elevate the baseball. C Jake Lundquist (New Prague, 2023) repeatedly got off loud hacks at the Minnesota Preseason All-State, reaching a 97.7 mph max exit velocity and averaging 279 feet per batted ball, peaking at 345 feet.

MIDWEST HITMEN 2023

OF Mac Resetich (Hall, 2023) is a 6.50 runner with athleticism in all areas of his game, particularly on defense and owns advanced arm strength from the outfield to pair. MIF Tanner Mally (Naperville North, 2023) has wiry athleticism and swings a quick right-handed bat with active feet on the infield. INF Beau Honeycutt (Knoxville, 2023), OF Cole Kratzberg (Orion, 2023), and 1B Jack Fagerson (Plainfield North, 2023) were all winners from the Illinois’ Preseason ID circuit. C Mark Wagner (Neuqua Valley, 2023) captains this team from behind the plate as a sturdy 5-foot-11, 200-pound backstop with some bat strength, and INF Seamus Boyle (Moline, 2023) was a winner from February’s Peoria Preseason ID and his high school teammate, INF Hunter Warren (Moline, 2023) is the lone prospect off the market on this roster, committed to Wright State. From Illinois, the Hitmen have plenty of fresh faces that we’re eager to see compete at Creekside throughout the weekend.

NEBRASKA PROSPECTS SCOUT 2023

One could argue that the Nebraska Prospects Scout team may hold the single widest collection of talent on a roster across this entire field of teams. This team is absolutely loaded with high-end talent across multiple classes in Nebraska, featuring several Division I commits and almost assuredly more to come.

Their position group matches up with anyone, as the ‘Spects have impact talent at every spot on the diamond. C/RHP Connor Capece (Omaha Gross Catholic, 2023; Creighton) owns explosive arm strength from behind the dish that translates to the mound as well, touching 94 mph in a ‘pen this winter, and sitting at 91-93 mph throughout. C Brady Fitzpatrick (Papillion-LaVista South, 2023) was a Future Gamer last year and slots inside the top-15 for his class, running a 6.84 60-yard dash with upside athleticism to all parts of his game. Left-handed hitting INF Max Buettenback (Lincoln Southeast, 2023; Nebraska) is another upper-echelon name on this team, occupying a top-five spot on the state’s 2023 rankings. Still uncommitted, OF Jack Grewe (Skutt Catholic) is another physical athlete with loud tools across the board, firing a 94 mph max from the outfield a few weeks ago and launching a baseball 373 feet at 95.6 mph in BP at that same event.

Jack Grewe

Two of the state’s top 2024 prospects are also on this team, both of which are uncommitted: INF Nick Venteicher (Millard West) and INF Michael Valdivia (Elkhorn South). Both attended our Scout Day event earlier this month and impressed during their workout. Venteicher’s calling card is his glove, as he’s savvy on the infield dirt with above-average arm strength to pair, peaking at 88 mph across the diamond in his workout. Valdivia repeats a similar stroke from both sides of the plate, showcasing easy bat speed and rhythm in BP. He’s a 6.87 runner that also owns advanced arm strength across the infield and sure-handed actions.

Michael Valdivia

The Prospects talented group extends to the mound as well with a plentiful amount of arms at their disposal, headlined by RHP Tucker Timmerman (Beatrice, 2023; Nebraska) and RHP Ryan Harrahill (Elkhorn North, 2023; Nebraska). Timmerman reached an 89 mph max last June when our scouts saw him, while the 6-foot-4, 220-pound Harrahill pitched exclusively at 91-92 mph during a ‘pen this winter, factoring in a hard-running sinker as well. Both are ranked inside the top-300 nationally for the 2023 class.

Ryan Harrahill

There’s a pair of former PBR Future Gamers on this staff, too in RHP Shea Wendt (Blair, 2023; Creighton) and RHP Drew Deremer (Millard West, 2023; Iowa). Wendt was up to 91 mph this winter and could add a few ticks to his fastball as he continues to fill out a 6-foot-2, 190-pound frame. Deremer pumps an ultra-easy high-80s fastball with arm-side run, complementing it with a mid-70s changeup thrown at arm speed. Uncommitted arms LHP Sam Patton (Creighton Prep, 2023) and LHP Alex Thomas (Elkhorn South, 2023) have both climbed into the upper-80s from the left side before, while RHP Carter Navin (Elkhorn South, 2023; Kansas) throws four pitches, including a fastball that’s been up to 91 mph. Also on this squad is LHP/OF Colin Nowaczyk (Elkhorn North), who’s a high-follow uncommitted 2024 grad that our scouts have seen up to 90 mph and swings a loud left-handed bat with above-average juice to the pull-side.

Shea Wendt

NEXT LEVEL

This Next Level team caught our eye at the Creekside Summer Championships and it's a group that has several uncommitted names from Kansas on their roster worth noting.

OF Preston Denmark (Liberty North, 2023) and RHP Kaleb Wellshear (Washburn Rural, 2023) each had strong tournaments at last weekend’s event. Denmark is an interesting left/left prospect that patrols center field with an athletic left-handed stroke at the plate. Wellshear dominated in his outing last weekend, twirling five innings of no-hit ball and seeing an uptick in velocity.

Kaleb Wellshear

The brother tandem of C Elijah Kincade (Topeka, 2023) and OF Isaiah Kincade (Topeka, 2024) brings more talent to this team. Elijah swings a quick right-handed bat with repeated line drive contact and juice off the barrel, while his younger brother has noteworthy hand speed in his own right and a short, direct path to contact. INF Brady Edmonds (Lawrence, 2023) has steady actions on the infield, while LHP Drew Florence (Washburn Rural, 2023) is a pitchability southpaw.

NORTHSTAR NAVY

You’ll definitely want to see this Northstar Navy team at some point this week, as our northern counterparts have filled each area of their roster with an abundance of talent.

We’ll start on the position side, where Northstar surely doesn’t lack firepower. OF Alex Altmann (Rockford, 2023; Minnesota) has catapulted himself into upper-tier status in the state over the last few years, representing Minnesota at the Future Games last summer and committing to the state’s largest school shortly afterwards. He runs a 6.66 60 at 6-foot-3, 205-pound and generates loud contact off the barrel due to advanced bat speed, peaking at 101.7 mph this winter. INF/RHP Josh Och (Chanhassen, 2023; Southern Miss) is another high-follow prospect in the state that also attended the Future Games. He’s a 6.75 runner with a strong right-handed swing and advanced actions on the infield to pair, particularly on the move. Right behind these two on the state rankings is SS/RHP Gunnar Heuchert (Grand Forks Red River, 2023; Minnesota), who also donned the Team Minnesota jersey at LakePoint last summer. Heuchert has one of the louder offensive profiles in the class, impacting the baseball at a different rate on average (88.7 mph) and at peak (98.3 mph) than his peers.

Alex Altmann

Both C Jack Taxdahl (Cretin Derham Hall, 2023; Minnesota) and C Noah Gordon (Rogers, 2023) are two of the top backstops the state has to offer. Both own advanced catch-and-throw skills from behind the plate, with Gordon having one of the livelier arms you’ll see from a catcher in the Midwest, topping at 85 mph this winter. Taxdahl repeatedly makes hard contact and easily repeated a handsy right-handed swing at the Minnesota Preseason All-State this winter. Left-handed hitting 3B Parker Lewin (Orono, 2023; Minnesota) is another high-end prospect on this squad that stays direct to contact from the left side and has room to fill out a proportionally strong 6-foot-1, 175-pound frame. INF Tanner Recchio (Lakeville North, 2023) also attended the Future Games in the summer and is now committed to the University of St. Thomas, one of the nation’s latest Division I programs. Recchio’s athletic on the infield and sprays the ball at the plate with a simple left-handed swing. Still uncommitted, OF Michael Gerda (Lakeville South) ran a 6.68 in the 60-yard dash in March, was up to 91 mph from the outfield, and barreled his hardest batted ball up at 98.8 mph in BP.

Turn your attention to the mound and you’ll find more talent, anchored by RHP Michael Miller (St. Thomas Academy, 2023; Ohio State). At 6-foot-4, 210-pounds, Miller looks like a professional pitcher when he toes the rubber. He sat at 89-90 mph at an event this winter and spun his breaking ball at nearly 2,700 RPM on average, mixing in a sinking changeup thrown with fastball intent at 84-86 mph. RHP Tyler Phelps Hemmesch (Sartell, 2023; Minnesota) has plenty of room to fill out a thin 6-foot, 160-pound frame and pitched in the mid-to-high-80s at the Future Games, complimenting his fastball with three secondary offerings. RHP Sawyer Hoffman (Farmington, 2023), RHP Tyus Smith (Prior Lake, 2023), and LHP Peyton Milene (Rochester Century, 2023) are all uncommitted arms on this staff that’ve been at 85+ mph with their fastballs in the past.

OKC SANDLOT WHITE

One of three teams from Oklahoma in this tournament, the Sandlot White roster features a handful of prospects worth following throughout the week. C Jacob Knox (Edmond, 2023) is one of the state’s top remaining uncommitted backstops, working well behind the plate and flashing juice off the barrel at times. A standout on the football field, RHP/OF Morgan Pearson (Ardmore, 2023) has two-way intrigue on the diamond, bumping his fastball into the high-80s while also showing plenty of physicality in the batter’s box, peaking at 99 mph in BP. Playing up an age level, OF Weston Thomas (Piedrnont, 2024) oozes upside attached to long 6-foot-5, 180-pound levers and wields a loud left-handed bat to pair.

Weston Thomas

PERFECT TIMING BLUE

Also up from Rogers, Arkansas this weekend is Perfect Timing Blue, who’s played in this tournament each of the last three years.

RHP Cade Castello (Fayetteville, 2023) will pump his fastball in the mid-80s and owns an advanced feel for his breaking ball. LHP Ty Steele (Bentonville, 2023) has a high feel to pitch from the left side and RHP Ethan Payne (Bentonville, 2023) is another arm to follow on the mound. OF Cooper Addison (Rogers Heritage, 2023) can really run and swings it well from the left side, while C Aidan Adair (Rogers Heritage, 2023) has a clean catch-and-throw operation behind the plate.

For a complete look at the Perfect Timing Blue roster, click HERE

RAKE CITY - 2023

Starting with the position group, Rake City has some intriguing uncommitted athletes on this roster. MIF Zan Von Schlegell (Saint Viator, 2023) was easily one of the biggest winners across the entire Illinois Preseason ID circuit, bursting onto the season at the Lockport ID and jumping into the top-80 prospects on the recently updated board. The 5-foot-10, 180-pound Von Schlegell is a 6.78 runner in the 60, averaged 90.9 mph off the barrel in BP with a 96.6 mph max, and threw a 92 mph strike across the infield during his workout.

Zan von Schlegell

C Henry Wolfe (New Trier, 2023) turned heads at the Illinois Preseason All-State with his athleticism behind the plate, running a 6.78 in the 60-yard dash at 6-foot-2, 195-pounds and turning in an impressive round of catcher defense as well. INF Kevin Cortez (Oak Park-River Forest, 2023), INF Matt Spell (Brother Rice, 2023), and OF Cole Kardatzke (Downers Grove South, 2023) are all athletic follows on this team.

Henry Wolfe

Rake City has some juice on the mound with LHP Vince Waterman (Homewood-Flossmoor, 2023; Kent State) and LHP Evan Nieter (Homewood-Flossmoor, 2023). Waterman, who played for Team Illinois at last year’s Future Games, was up to 87.4 mph this winter at the Preseason All-State and averaged 2,300+ RPM on his fastball. Nieter brings a projectable 6-foot-5, 210-pound frame to the bump and pitched in the low-80s at an event this winter.

RAWLINGS ARKANSAS PROSPECTS SCOUT

Up to Creekside from Sherwood is the Rawlings Arkansas Prospects Scout team, who makes up one of three teams from Arkansas. Their roster features a handful of noteworthy players hailing from the ‘Natural State’.

RHP Tyler Hoskins (Valley View, 2023) remains one of the state’s top uncommitted arms, running his fastball up to 90 mph as recently as June 1st at the Max Velocity Scout Day. INF Kade Ivy (Searcy, 2023) teamed up with Hoskins at the Future Games last August, boasting physicality at the plate and upper-90s exit velocities from a sturdy 6-foot, 200-pound frame. OF Brennan Browning (Lakeside, 2023; Central Arkansas) was also on that Team Arkansas squad and he’s an athletic 5-foot-11, 175-pound prospect that ran a 6.72 60 with clean outfield actions.

Tyler Hoskins

There’s some more follows on this team, particularly on the mound. RHP Drew Grumbles (Episcopal Collegiate, 2023) is also one of the state’s top uncommitted arms, pitching in the mid-to-high-80s with his fastball with three quality secondaries to pair. From Missouri, RHP Max Mentel (Westminster Christian, 2023) stands at 6-foot-6, 207-pounds and pitches it in the mid-80s, touching 85 mph. RHP Gavin Amberg (North Little Rock, 2023; Crowder JC) has arm strength attached to his 6-foot-2, 200-pound stature.

RAWLINGS TIGERS - ST. LOUIS 17U

RHP Connor McCaleb (Timberland, 2023) and RHP Warner Lenahan (Marquette, 2023) are two standout arms on this Rawlings Tigers’ roster. McCaleb looks the part on the mound at 6-foot-1, 190-pounds and he was a clear winner from our recent St. Louis Top Prospect event, pitching at 85-87 mph with a 2,400+ RPM fastball that averaged 20+ inches of vertical carry. Lenahan boasts a thick, sturdy 6-foot-3, 235-pound frame and anchored a Marquette team on the mound that made a deep run into the MSHSAA playoffs.

Connor McCaleb

C Carson McCaleb (Timberland, 2023) is a physical switch-hitting backstop with compact strength and juice off the barrel from both sides of the plate. INF Edward Uschold (Parkway South, 2023) took one of the louder BP rounds at Tuesday’s event, backspinning baseballs off his barrel into the pull-side gap and running a 7.08 60-yard dash at 6-foot-1, 192-pounds. OF Luke Burns (Desmet, 2023) also showed well at our most recent showcase, while INF/C Aiden Cizek (Lafayette, 2023) and OF Jack Lally (Marquette, 2023) are both uncommitted follows on this team.

RHINO BASEBALL - TEHAKO

Last year’s Rhino Baseball group made a run at the Super 17 title and they’re bringing back a talented, competitive squad to compete for this one.

There’s a handful of committed prospects worth highlighting on this roster, starting with INF Tony Konopiots (Downers Grove North, 2023; West Virginia). Konopiots has ascended into a top-30 prospect in a loaded Illinois’ 2023 class and he’s routinely shown our scouts an advanced right-handed bat capable of providing impact at the Power Five level.

Tony Konopiots

OF Mikey Murphy (Minooka, 2023; Central Michigan) matches up with anyone from a pure tools standpoint, running a laser timed 6.31 60-yard and recording a 103 mph max exit velocity in BP this winter. C Tyler Stack (Oswego, 2023) is a physical 6-foot-3, 195-pound backstop with bat strength in the box and arm strength behind the plate who’s committed to Xavier. RHP Ryan Anderson (Minooka, 2024) represented Team Illinois at the Future Games as an underclassman last summer and is one of the state’s top 2024 prospects, recently committing to Arizona.

Mikey Murphy

There’s still plenty of uncommitted talent on this roster, however. 1B Cade Duffin (Oswego, 2023) recorded the hardest batted ball in Illinois at the Rhino Scout Day last September when he blasted a 107.5 mph laser in BP. At 6-foot-3, 240-pounds, Duffin’s one of the strongest right-handed hitters we’ll see at Creekside this weekend. INF/RHP Carter Storti (Lemont, 2023) turned in a quality spring on the mound for Lemont, including a strong start against Brother Rice’s lethal offense during the Do It Stevie’s Way tournament, and RHP Christopher McCormack (Naperville Central) is a lean, lanky 6-foot-1, 160-pound athlete up to 85 mph with his fastball earlier this spring. C Andrew Mack (Minooka, 2023) and C Sean Ryniec (Downers Grove North, 2023) are two names still on the market worth a follow, too.

For a complete look at the Rhino Baseball - Tehako roster, click HERE

SLAMMERS DAVIS

Making the trip down from Colorado to Creekside, the Slammers have some uncommitted follows that’ll be on display throughout the tournament. RHP Anthony Treto (Brighton, 2023) and RHP Ian Rasmussen (Standley Lake, 2023) are two right-handed uncommitted arms up to 84 with their fastball. A top-100 prospect in Colorado, left/left OF Cohen Cress (Green Mountain, 2023) offers upside attached to a 6-foot-2, 185-pound frame with thump and bat speed attached to his left-handed swing. Also inside the state’s top-100 prospects, 1B Luke Blackmon (Broomfield, 2023) boasts a physically built 6-foot-3, 205-pound frame with raw bat strength and size to pair.

For a complete look at the Slammers Davis roster, click HERE

STIKS ACADEMY BLACK

This STiKS Black 2023 group has, over the years, assembled into a strong collection of talented prospects in all areas of the field. INF Ethan Hindle (Arrowhead, 2023; Kentucky) leads the charge, and last year’s Team Wisconsin star has molded himself into one of the Midwest’s top bats for this 2023 class.

Ethan Hindle

OF Ryan Drumm (Edgewood, 2023; Butler) and 1B Tyler Butina (Jefferson, 2023; Central Michigan) are two more Division I commits on this roster, with the former steadily ascending after a productive showing at the Madison Preseason ID this winter. A projectable 6-foot-3, 185-pound athlete, INF Adam Schilz (Warren Township, 2023) swings an upside left-handed bat with natural gap-to-gap lift that’ll likely grow into more power as he fills out his frame. Few are capable of impacting the ball with as much force as INF Keith Williams (Catholic Memorial, 2023) can, as the Crusaders’ multi-sport standout reached a 102.4 mph high at the West Milwaukee ID this winter, averaging 97.4 mph off the bat from the left side.

Keith Williams

STiKS will trot out a handful of quality arms throughout the weekend, starting with RHP Luke Agnew (Marquette, 2023; Wichita State). Agnew, who looks like a traditional starter at 6-foot-3, 205-pounds, pounds the strike zone with three pitches, including a high-80s fastball. RHP Elijah Niemiec (St. Thomas More, 2023) brings an imposing 6-foot-5, 205-pound frame to the mound and punched out 100 batters in 50 innings for the Cavaliers this spring, pumping his fastball in the mid-80s while spinning a high-60s breaking ball at 2,700+ RPM. RHP Kegan Schlichting (Oshkosh North, 2023), RHP Camden Broske (West Bend West, 2023), and RHP EJ Kuster (Greendale, 2023) are all uncommitted arms that we’ve seen run their fastballs north of the 85 mph range.

Elijah Niemiec

TOP TIER AMERICANS

There’s not going to be any shortage of talent on this Top Tier Americans roster and there’s an abundance of high-follow names from the Illinois’ 2023 class on this team.

Kicking things off with the position group, INF Jaden Correa (De La Salle, 2023; Nebraska), 1B Amir Gray (Brother Rice, 2023; Purdue) and OF Lucas Smith (Nazareth Academy, 2023; Illinois-Chicago) are three names that stand out. Correa recently attended the PBR ProCase - Midwest and was also a member of Team Illinois at the Future Games as a high level athlete with fluid athleticism to all areas of his game. Gray swings a clean left-handed bat and played a key role for the Crusaders’ potent lineup this spring, while Smith put up all-state caliber numbers and served as a playoff hero for the 3A state champion Roadrunners.

Lucas Smith

Still uncommitted, C AJ Malzone (St. Rita, 2023) brings a coveted skill-set to the field as an advanced left-handed hitting backstop that’s constantly produced in game and has also made gains defensively behind the plate. C Johnny Wendling (St. Laurence, 2023) made the trip to LakePoint with Team Illinois last summer and owns above-average bat strength from the right side of the plate. CIF/RHP Zachary Kwasny (Lincoln-Way East, 2023) is a legitimate two-way prospect, harnessing plenty of pure raw power attached to a 6-foot-5, 220-pound frame and also pumping his fastball into the mid-to-high-80s with feel to land his curveball for strikes. INF Sohrab Rezaei (Chicago Laboratory Schools, 2023) does it all for this team, serving as a quality defensive option on the infield and consistently putting together competitive at-bats at the plate.

Top Tier has plenty of juice on the mound and it starts with LHP Tore Indomenico (St. Ignatius Prep, 2023; Notre Dame). The 6-foot-1, 190-pound southpaw has been trending upwards since the Future Games, repeatedly impressing our scouts each time we see him. There’s certainly more velocity left to come, as he’s easily run his heater up into the high-80s while pairing it with a true swing-and-miss slider. RHP Tommy Haggerty (Homewood-Flossmoor, 2023) is another high-follow name-to-know, as he’s currently the top uncommitted arm in the Illinois’ incoming senior class. Haggerty looks the part on the mound, standing at a well-proportioned 6-foot-2, 205-pounds with room to add more. He was up to 90 mph in a live look this spring, attacking hitters with a high-80s fastball and landing a low-70s breaking ball for strikes on a more consistent basis than before. RHP Benjamin Oosterbaan (Hinsdale Central, 2023) has one of the more projectable frames in the class, standing at 6-foot-5, 180-pounds with plenty of room to fill out. Oosterbaan is a standout basketball player in his own right and that level of athleticism elevates his ceiling even more so on the mound. RHP Finn O’Meara (Nazareth Academy, 2023), RHP Charlie Wolf (St. Ignatius Prep, 2023), and RHP Colin Tarr (West Aurora, 2023) all feature fastballs that have reached 87+ mph and they all spin their breaking balls at an above-average clip, too.

TULSA SANDLOT RUSSELL

At 6-foot-7, 230-pounds LHP Weston Rouse (Fort Gibson, 2023; Oklahoma State) is certainly going to turn some heads when he takes the rubber for this Tulsa Sandlot squad this weekend. Rouse was a member of Team Oklahoma at last year’s Future Games before committing to Oklahoma State and it was there that he utilized those long limbs to reach an 89 mph high with his fastball. Rouse’s starting to throw his breaking ball for strikes more often and is also starting to sync up his levers more consistently, perhaps unlocking an extremely high ceiling on the mound.

Weston Rouse

INF Branden Floyd (Owasso, 2023) and INF/RHP Chandler Fowler (Jenks, 2023) are both arrow-up prospects on this roster that are still uncommitted. Floyd came on to play really well down the stretch of the high school season and he excels defensively with sneaky pop to pair from the right side. Fowler has legitimate two-way potential with clear upside attached to a lean, high-waisted 6-foot-1, 165-pound. He’s a 6.96 runner in the 60 that swings one of the state’s cleaner right-handed bats and pumps the strike zone with his entire arsenal.

UA ST. LOUIS PROSPECTS SCOUT 2

Combing through this UA St. Louis Prospects Scout roster, there’s a few uncommitted names to spotlight. INF Andrew Merseal (St. Pius X, 2023) took home ‘Conference Player of the Year’ for his high school squad after tearing it up this past spring. C Charlie Burt (Chaminade, 2023) repeats a level path to contact from the right side and made consistent line drive contact at our Missouri Fall Upperclass Games last September. INF Reed Drabant (Columbia, 2023) was one of the top prospects at the Peoria Preseason ID this past February, flashing an upside left-handed stroke and a wiry, projectable 5-foot-11, 180-pound frame.

UA ST. LOUIS PROSPECTS SCOUT WHALEY

Right at the top of this team’s roster are 1B/TE Brett Norfleet (Francis Howell, 2023; Missouri) and RHP Seth Benes (Liberty-Wentzville, 2023), both of whom are nationally ranked names in the 2023 class. Norfleet, who’s committed to Mizzou for both baseball and football, paced one of the state’s top teams with nine home runs this spring and holds all sorts of bat strength attached to a physically imposing 6-foot-7, 240-pound frame. Benes attended the Future Games last summer and has been on the ascent ever since, pumping a low-90s fastball from a silky-smooth operation and complementing it with two quality secondaries, including a sharp, swing-and-miss low-70s breaking ball. OF Kaden Peer (Christian Brothers College, 2023; Misosuri) joined Benes at the Future Games and is a highly athletic left-handed hitter that oozes tools attached to a highly projectable 6-foot-2, 180-pound frame. Peer’s hardest batted ball this winter left his barrel at 97.5 mph and he was up to 95 mph from the outfield, running a 6.88 60 as well.

Seth Benes

LHP Kenton Deverman (Fort Zumwalt West, 2023; Evansville) and RHP Jackson Yarberry (Timberland, 2023) add quality depth to this rotation. Deverman had an extremely impressive spring for FZW on the bump, while Yarberry’s a strong, sturdy 6-foot-2, 220-pound prospect that we’ve seen pitch at 87-88 mph in ‘pens. There’s plenty to like with OF Austin Romaine (Hillsboro, 2023), as he ran a 6.84 60-yard dash at 6-foot-2, 220-pounds this winter. Another former Team Missouri representative, Romaine is seemingly just starting to tap into his ceiling on the field and he’s amongst the top left-handed hitters still uncommitted in Missouri’s 2023 group.

Two more names worth highlighting include C Ayden Rogers (Francis Howell, 2023) and INF Cooper Walkoff (Parkway West, 2023). Rogers is off to a strong summer already and will look to carry that momentum into this weekend, while Walkoff brings even more juice to this lineup, naturally elevating baseballs off his barrel with above-average batted ball metrics at one of our events this winter.

US NATIONALS MIDSOUTH 17

Wrapping up the Arkansas’ squads from this tournament are the Nationals, who have a few names worth following throughout the weekend.

OF Ty Durham (Bentonville West, 2023; Southern Miss) is one of the fastest runners in the entire country, darting his way to a 6.33 last June. RHP Easton Frazier (Fayetteville, 2023) donned the Arkansas’ jersey at last year’s Future Games and is an uncommitted 6-foot-4, 185-pound athlete up to 88 with his fastball. 1B Stephon Gryskiewicz (Bentonville, 2023; Arkansas State) boasts an ultra-physical 6-foot-5, 260-pound frame and has registered exit velocities as high as 105.5 mph at our events. Left-handed hitting C Lucas Jackson (Southside, 2023) has a sturdy 6-foot-2. 190-pound frame with high physicality and bat speed. He took a loud round of BP at the Top Prospect Games: Upperclass event yesterday, barreling his hardest hit ball up at 101.1 mph.

WARRIORS BASEBALL CLUB

Traveling from central Missouri, the Warriors Baseball Club roster is home to some of the state’s top prospects from that region, headlined by LHP Will Libbert (Blair Oaks, 2023; Missouri). Libbert brings a highly competitive demeanor to the mound, throwing both his secondaries for strikes and attacking hitters with a fastball that’s been up to 94 mph. 3B Braden Hemmer (Columbia Hickman, 2023; Missouri) is, like Libbert, also committed to Mizzou and wields one of the state’s most physical right-handed bats. Hemmer’s arm plays true across the diamond with advanced arm strength for his age and it translates to the mound, as he’s pumped his fastball up into the high-80s in the past. Another Tigers’ commit, RHP Charlie Miller (Russellville, 2023), pairs well with Libbert on the mound as a strike-throwing 6-foot-3, 185-pound athlete that’s breached the 90 mph mark with his fastball in the past. INF Kamden Durnin (Camdenton, 2023; Wichita State) manned down shortstop for Team Missouri at the Future Games this past summer and he’s an athletic up-the-middle athlete with pop and 91 mph arm strength.

Will Libbert

Moving away from their committed bunch, the Warriors have a handful of uncommitted follows, starting with their backstop duo of C Cannon Stucky (Lafayette, 2023) and C Tyler Lang (Parkway West, 2023). Stucky, who was also a Future Gamer this past summer, has premium arm strength from behind the dish and pairs it up with a physical right-handed bat. Lang had a loud spring for Parkway West and, like Stucky, brings thump to the plate as a potential middle-of-the-order type at the next level. On the mound, RHP Caleb Oligschlaeger (St. Elizabeth R-IV, 2023) stands at 6-foot-2, 188-pounds with an upper-80s fastball and he throws a downer breaking ball with conviction in the mid-70s.
