Wisconsin-Parkside commit. Currently ranked No. 198 in the Illinois’ 2023 class. 6-foot, 190-pound, strong, durable build, right-handed hitting third baseman. Is also one of the top arms for the Indians this spring. Strong all-around showing as a position player; hitting out of the three-hole and playing third base. Defensively, made a couple of non-routine plays on above-average runners, showing confident hands and a strong accurate arm across the diamond; steady infield actions overall. Offensively, right-handed hitter, early loading action, gets the foot down and stays direct and strong to the baseball with above-average bat speed. Drove a ground-rule double to deep left-center field in his first at-bat that scored a run. Also hit a deep sacrifice fly for another RBI in his third at-bat and flew out to center in his final at-bat. Finished 1-for-3 with two RBIs.

INF Carter Storti (Lemont, 2023) started his week off with an impressive BP round, repeating hard contact (89.4 mph) off the barrel while reaching a peak exit velocity of 97.2 mph. Storti’s offensive talents translated to the gameplay portion, where he found the barrel a few times as the event went on. Defensively, Storti made a sure-handed play on the move in the 6.5 hole, displaying body control and arm strength to pair. He’s an active, high-motor player that’s still uncommitted heading into his senior season.
