Each fall, Prep Baseball Illinois has been making the trek around the state to gain intel on the state's bustling JUCO scene. The recruiting landscape these past few years has reshaped the way four-year Division I, II, and III programs are stocking their incoming classes, and it's resulted in generating an even more talented pool of players opting for the JUCO route, especially in a state like Illinois, where the JUCO atmosphere is as competitive as any other state in the nation.

2024 PUMA CLASSIC

This year's Puma Classic will be held at Grand Park in Westfield, Ind., on Sept. 13 and 14. It will once again provide us with an ample look at the best JUCO players in the area, with a huge presence of Illinois-based programs in attendance.
