Impressed behind the plate with his awareness and feel for the game, as well as at the plate with a strong right-handed stroke. The backstop is a confident receiver of the baseball, working to present pitches in and around the zone with strong hands. He also moves well for his size, dropping well into blocks and deadening the ball out front. His catch/throw is clean and works in-line to second, putting strong throws on the bag consistently.
