Boldt is a long and lean 6-foot, 160-pound, left-handed hitting outfield prospect and right-handed pitcher in Missouri’s 2021 class. At the event, he ran a 7.04 second 60 and a 4.50 home-to-first. At the plate, exit velocity of 82 mph, athletic stance, quiet load, showed some barrel control, aggressive lower half, level bat path, remains balanced throughout, showed line drive contact to all fields during round. In the outfield, Boldt showed a strong arm with some carry, positional velo of 77 mph, long loose arm action, clean transfers, momentum towards target, mostly accurate throws. On the mound, delivery is smooth, repeats, works downhill, loose arm action with a three-quarter release, controlled leg lift, accelerates down the mound, athletic finish. Fastball is 74-77 mph, some cutting action, thrown for strikes, curveball is 63-67 mph, gradual action, near fastball arm speed, changeup is 65-66 mph.
9/23/18 - Boldt is a lean 6-foot 150-pound left handed hitting outfielder and right handed pitcher in the 2021 MIssouri class. Boldt runs a 7.31 60 yard dash and a 4.83 home to first. At the plate, Boldt starts slighty open with his hands at his back ear, uses a knee to knee leg kick and explodes his back hip. Hands have a short and quiet load with his hands slightly dropping. Boldt gets his exit velocity up to 74 mph.
