7/18/17 - Pound is a physical 6-foot 210-pound right-handed hitting outfielder and right-handed pitcher in Missouri’s 2018 class.  He ran a 6.94 60 and a 4.65 home to first.  He has an exit velocity of 90 mph. At the plate, has power to pull side, starts slightly open, thin stride, hands drop slightly to load, quick bat speed, aggressive, bat path has lift, strong and loose hands.  In the outfield, 81 mph positional velo, high three quarters arm slot, long arm circle, smooth action, clean exchange, quick crow hop, fluid footwork, throws are accurate with carry. On the mound, Pound is strong bodied, over the top release, throws slightly across body with regular effort, repeats delivery, slight downhill plane, fastball has slight running action, 78-81 mph, showed command of breaking ball, early 12-to-6 action, 64-69 mph, controllable change up at 69-70 mph.  

10.4.15 - 5-foot-11, 195-pound two-way player, solid build, wide shouldered, carries some strength. Projects best on the mound. Tall and fall delivery, closed landing. Long arm action, ¾ slot. Fastball played with sinking action, 74-76 mph, touched 77 mph. Occasional sweeping action on slider, 66-69 mph. Produced swing and miss in game play, struck out the side scattering one baserunner on a groundball error. Offensively, hits from the right side, crouched wider stance, leg kick trigger, lower half collapse. Strong bat, hits off back side, long uphill bat path, showed gap to gap contact. 80 mph exit velocity from the tee. Defensively uses similar arm action in the outfield as on the mound, 77 mph from the outfield. 5.47 runner down the line. Went 1-for-3 in game play with a single.

7/14/15 - Pound is a 5-foot-11 195-pound right-handed hitting outfielder and right-handed pitcher in the 2018 class.  He runs a 7.81 60 and has an exit velo of 82 mph.  At the plate, Pound starts in a balanced position, loads in back leg, minimal hand movement, controlled front leg lift, hit to mostly pull side.  In the outfield, fluid footwork and exchange, three-quarters release, 75 mph positional velo. During his bullpen, Pound worked his fastball at 71-75 mph, over-the-top release, 12-to-6 curveball, 58-63 mph, change up at 63-64 mph.
