6/13/17 - Mize is a 5-foot-10 156-pound right-handed hitting shortstop in Missouri’s 2019 class.  He ran a 7.77 laser timed 60 and a 4.50 home to first.  He has an 86 mph exit velo. At the plate, slightly open, short in line stride, smooth pre swing rhythm, loose hands, mostly middle to pull side line drives during batting practice.  On the infield, 75 mph positional velo, loose three quarters release, smooth actions with clean exchange, athletic footwork, mostly accurate throws, frame has ability to add strength as he continues to develop to go along with already athletic actions.  Singled to centerfield and left field in game action.

2/20/17 - Mize is a 5-foot-10 154-pound right-handed hitting shortstop in Missouri’s 2019 class. He ran a 4.84 home to first and has a 79 mph exit velo. At the plate, open stance, smooth and controlled load, in line stride with controlled leg lift, hands create bat whip and control of barrel, solid consistent line drives to middle of the field, gap-to-gap approach, repeats. On the infield, 78 mph positional velocity, high three quarters release, quick catch and throw with footwork creating momentum to throw, slender frame capable of adding strength to already smooth actions. 

2/15/16 - Mize is a 5-foot-9 135-pound right-handed hitting shortstop in Missouri’s 2019 class.  He ran a 4.91 home-to-first and has an exit velo of 76. At the plate, repeats swing, no wasted movement, short stride, level path through zone.  On the infield, 74 mph positional velo, high three quarters release, arm works, athletic footwork, clean transfer with soft hands. Projectable player in 2019 class.
