6/14/16 - Martin is a 5-foot-11 150-pound left-handed hitting outfielder and left-handed pitcher in Missouri’s 2018 class.  He ran a 7.19 60 and a 4.35 home-to-first.  He has a 78 mph exit velo. At the plate, swing produced line drives up the middle, solid consistent contact, athletic stance, minimal load with no wasted movement, loose hands with feel for the barrel, singled to centerfield and lined out to shortstop in game action.  In the outfield, 80 mph positional velo, high three-quarters arm slot, short and quick release, mostly accurate throws. On the mound, Martin has a loose arm action, over the top release, projectable and lean frame, fastball at 72-77 mph, downhill plane, breaking ball has 12-to-6 action, sometimes sharp, 62-64 mph, tallied three strikeouts and three walks in outing.

6.28.16 - 6-foot, 150-pound athletic outfielder. Offensively, left-handed hitter, compact swing, fluid rhythm, loose, easy, bat speed. Bat stays flat through the zone, present bat speed and ball jumps off the bat. Put a ball off the scoreboard in right-center field during batting practice. Registered an 80 mph exit velocity. Balanced, tall setup, short stride, smooth load and good balance. Defensively, athletic actions in the outfield. Soft hands, fluid footwork, moves well side-to-side, clean and quick exchange. Athletic fielding position, plays through the baseball. Arm is short and quick, comes from a high ¾ slot, throws flashed carry; clocked at 84 mph from the outfield. Also, ran a 7.03 laser timed 60. High level 2018 prospect.
