Positional Profile: MIF

Body: 5-foot-9, 165-pound lean and developing frame with room for added strength and size in the future.

Hit: RHH.  At the plate starts with a neutral stance and upright posture with a flat bat angle.   Two tap stride with quick pace and short weight stack onto a bent back leg.  Lower half turns rotationally on the back leg with a rotational bat path and strong top hand finish.  Maintains balance throughout the swing.  Feel for barrel in the zone and takes good routes to the ball.  Short and compact swing and shows the ability to drive the ball gap to gap with a line drive approach.

Power: 84 mph exit velocity off the tee and 86 mph exit velocity in BP.

Arm: RH. INF-72 MPH.  High ¾ arm slot with a short arm action.

Defense: In the infield attacks the ball with lateral footwork and short and choppy steps.  Very quick exchanges out of the glove.  Shows a feel for glove action and a soft glove.  Fields the ball on the run well with a solid slow roller technique.

Run: 7.25 runner in the 60.


Lean, athletic 5-foot-9, 165-pound frame with room to add strength. Right-handed hitter sets up in a tall, balanced stance with a toe-tap load and short stride. Level bat path through the zone with some feel for the barrel. Sprayed line-drives to all fields with an 80 mph bat-exit velocity. Ran a 7.45 60-yard dash. Behind the plate, shows soft hands when receiving with average blocking ability. Quick footwork and exchanges on 70 mph throws down to second base from a short high-¾ arm action. Pop times ranged from 2.00-2.19 seconds. In the infield, works around to field, funneling the ball into his body. Some glove stiffness. 74 mph throws across the diamond with average accuracy.


Showcases a compact 5-foot-9, 165-pound frame. The right-handed hitter has a balanced, even stance and initiates an uphill bat path using a small leg lift and hand load. Showed feel for barrel, spraying line-drives and fly balls to all fields during BP. Registered a 76 mph bat-exit velocity. Ran a 7.41 60-yard dash. The primary catcher shows flexibility behind the plate with limited sway when receiving and developing blocking ability. Has short footwork and clean exchanges, making accurate 68 mph throws to 2B with a 2.00 sec pop time. In the infield, displays adequate footwork to field with sure hands. Throws from a short high-¾ arm slot at 76 mph.
