Juergens has a quick tempo to delivery, works slight across body, hides ball well, arm works from high three quarters arm slot, fastball at 80-81 mph, work primarily inside to right-handed hitter but will work to both sides of the plate, slight two-seam action, breaking ball 67-70 mph, 11-to-5 action, early break with some depth, throws a high percentage of strikes with both pitches.

2/18/18 - Juergens is a 5-foot-10 155-pound right-handed pitcher in Missouri’s 2019 class. Juergens is a strike thrower with three pitches, high over the top release, quick tempo to delivery, repeats well with compact delivery, loose arm action, stays in line, fastball showed slight running action, fastball worked 83-85 mph, works down to both sides of the plate, breaking ball has 11-to-5, late and sharp break, change up has arm side sink, throws with fastball arm speed, 79-77 mph, has a feel for the mound, can throw any pitch in any count.

7/18/17 - Juergens is a 5-foot-9 147-pound right-handed pitcher and shortstop in Missouri’s 2019 class.  He ran a 7.52 60 and a 4.61 home to first.  He has an 82 mph exit velocity. At the plate, thin set up in stance, inline stride, quick bat speed, level thought he zone, mostly line drives to middle and pull side of the field during batting practice.  On the infield, 80 mph positional velo, fluid actions, field the ball out front, quick transfer, replaces feet, mostly accurate throws, soft hands.  On the mound, Juergens has a high three quarters release, throws three pitches for strikes, small bounce to come set, smooth tempo and rhythm in delivery, repeats, in line stride down mound, fastball at 80-83 mph, sharp breaking 10-to-4 breaking ball, mostly down in zone, change up as occasional late run, 74-75 mph, controllable with feel.

At the plate, thins stance, no wasted movement on load, showed bat control with hands, middle of the field contact during batting practice, tripled down the left field line in game action.  On the infield, 75 mph positional velo, high three quarters arm slot, quick footwork translating to quick catch and throw, accurate throws. On the mound, Juergens challenged hitters with a three pitch mix during his inning of work, no walks, one hit and one strike out during inning, high number of strikes, fastball at 74-80 mph, gradual breaking ball with 11-to-5 action at 64-67 mph, slider at 71 mph, controllable change up at 70 mph, fastball arm speed, high three quarters arm slot, slot lowers at times and get under ball, works across body at times, adds deception.

At the plate, than stance with smooth rhythm, in line stride, hands work inside ball, body under control, gap-to-gap approach.  On the infield, 74 mph positional velo, moves well to the ball, loose high three quarters arm action, quick catch and throw, accurate throws. On the mound, Juergens attacked the zone with a three pitch mix, high percentage of strike, loose arm action, controlled delivery, fastball at 75-79 mph, some flashing running action, breaking ball has 11-to-5 shape, sharp and late action, looks to be a good pitch as he continues to develop, 64-66 mph, controlled change up, fastball arm speed, 69 mph, compliments fastball.
