At the plate, starts slightly open, some hand load, leg lift staying inside back leg, mostly pull side contact, consistent line drives, stays balanced during swing.  Defensively, quick exchange on time with quick feet, attacks ball with momentum in footwork, over the top arm slot with short release, pop times between 2.03 and 2.12-seconds, 77 mph positional velocity, mostly accurate throws with carry.

2/19/18 - Bishop is an athletically built 5-foot-10 165-pound right-handed hitting catcher in Missouri’s 2019 class.  He ran a 4.05 home to first and has a 90 mph exit velocity. At the plate, open stance, some pre-pitch rhythm in hands, in line stride, level swing path, swing produced mostly line drives and flat contact gap to gap.  Behind the plate, high three quarters arm slot, pop times at 1.96 to 2.15-seconds, 78 mph positional velocity, quick hands and feet with aggressive catch and throw, hands and feet in sync and under control, soft hands, mostly accurate throws with carry.
