10/1/17 - Adler is a 5-foot-11 175-pound right-handed hitting shortstop and right-handed pitcher in Missouri’s 2018 class.  He ran a 7.25 laser timed 60 and has an 85 mph exit velocity. At the plate, tall and balanced stance, short in line stride, no wasted movement in load, quick bat speed, level bat plane, flashed pull side power, mostly middle to pull side contact.  On the infield, 76 mph positional velocity, high three quarters release, field ball in athletic position, clean transfer and throw, mostly accurate, gains ground to first base after catch. On the mound, Adler has a lean frame and loose arm whip, throws with some effort down the mound, controlled leg lift, high three quarters arm slot, tall and fall type delivery, fastball at 74-78 mph, occasional run, curveball has 11-to-5 shape, near fastball arm speed, will drop to a slightly lower slot, 66-68 mph, change up at 71-73 mph.
