Meyer is a 6-foot-1, 178-pound, right-handed hitting middle infielder and right-handed pitcher in Missouri’s 2021 class. At the event he ran 4.94 home-to-first and posted an exit velocity of 84 mph. During hitting evaluations, Meyer starts with an open stance, leg lift into load, in line stride, repeatable swing, high finish with hands, mostly pull side contact during batting practice. Defensively, fluid footwork, glove tap into transfer, momentum towards first base, soft hands, high three-quarter slot, positional velo of 72 mph, very accurate throws. On the mound, Meyer has a simple and rhythmic delivery, repeats with downhill tilt, works from the extreme first base side of the rubber, high three-quarter release, throws all pitches with minimal effort. Fastball is 73-77 mph, occasional run, thrown for a high percentage of strikes, changeup is 68-70 mph, near fastball arm speed, curveball was 60-63 mph at the event, 11-to-5 shape, sharp at times, thrown for strikes.

2/19/18 - Meyer is a lean 5-foot-11 155-pound right-handed hitting shortstop and right-handed pitcher in Missouri’s 2021 class.  He ran a 4.80 home to first and has an 87 mph exit velocity. At the plate, open and crouched set up, gathers weight in back leg with leg kick during load, some hand load with a good bat angle, accelerated hands to contact, gap to gap approach.  On the infield, 74 mph positional velocity, clean high three quarters arm slot, active feet on time with exchange, feel allow for good direction and momentum. On the mound, Meyer has a high three quarters arm slot, smooth and accelerated tempo, in line stride, loose arm action, throws with regular effort, fastball at 73-77 mph, breaking ball has 12-to-6 action, gradual break, 63-67 mph, change up at 68-70, down in zone, throws with near fastball arm speed.
