9/15/14 - Robbins is an athletic 6-foot, 170-pound right-hand hitting outfielder for the Bullets, however he was inserted into a game against KC Elite to pitch an inning and showed a mid-80’s sinking fastball as he recorded three quick outs.  He topped out at 88 mph, an increase since we saw him last.

8/17/14 – Robbins is an athletic 6-foot-0, 170-pound right-handed pitcher. He has an over-the-top delivery and quick arm speed with short arm action. Jared throws with easy effort and keeps his shoulders lever through his delivery. Robbins had a fastball velocity range of 83-87 MPH. His curveball was at 63-66 MPH with 12/6 tilt and late/sharp break. Jared also displayed a change-up that ranged from 74-77 with near fastball arm speed. He tallied 2 strikeouts during his outing in the game.

8/17/14 – Robbins is an athletic 6-foot-0, 170-pound right-hand hitting outfielder. He posted a home-to-first time of 4.35. He throws from an over-the-top arm slot with short arm action. Jared’s throws were mostly accurate and had good carry. His position velo was 86 MPH. Robbins displayed quick fluid feet and a clean exchange. At the plate, Robbins has an athletic setup with a long stride. He uses his lower half well and maintains a level bat path. Jared produces gap-to-gap line drives with his swing. He had an exit velo of 86 MPH.

6/9/14 - Robbins is an athletic 6-foot, 170-pound class of 2015 right-hand hitting outfielder from Rockhurst HS in Missouri.  During hitting evaluations he showed a tall, athletic set-up.  He uses a short pre-set stride and no hand load and gap-to-gap line drive approach with some bat speed.  Robbins maintains balance throughout and repeats his swing well.  He recorded a top exit velocity of 83 mph.  From the outfield he showed quick feet and hands, made clean exchanges and threw with quick over-the-top arm-action with some effort.  His top throw was clocked at 85 mph – the best mark in camp, all positions.  He ran a 4.38 home-to-1B and camp best 60-yard dash at 6.88.

6/9/14 - Robbins is an athletic 6-foot, 170-pound class of 2015 right-handed pitcher from Rockhurst HS in Missouri.  He throws with short, quick three-quarters arm action with some effort.  He has a deliberate and simple delivery with a short vertical knee lift while striding inline.  Robbins fastball has arm-side run to it and was clocked in the 82-84 mph range.  He also features a 65-67 breaking ball with up-down 12/6 action and a 76-77 change-up

11/3/13 - Robbins is an athletic-framed 6-foot, 165-pound right hand hitting outfielder with solid across the board tools.  During batting practice he showed a balanced set up, smooth load and short stride.  His lower half works well and has good balance throughout.  He showed good bat speed and a level swing, gap-to-gap approach and fluid rhythm.  His exit velocity high was 84 mph.  In the outfield he played through the ball well and threw with a loose ¾ arm action with throws clocked as high as 85 mph.  Robbins was the most accurate thrower in the outfield group and also ran a camp best 6.85 60-yard dash.  Click here to read Robbins’ pitching scouting report from this event.

11/3/13 - The athletic 6-foot, 160-pound Robbins works off a bent back leg and uphill throwing motion.  His arm slot is high ¾ and he throws with some effort.  He strides consistently inline with home plate.  The right-hander's fastball was clocked at 78-80 mph with some sinking action when he worked down in the zone.  He also features a 60-64 breaking ball and 70-72 change-up.
