8/17/14 – Scribner is a strong, athletic 6-foot-0 195-pound right hand hitting catcher. He ran a home-to-first time of 4.65. Josh throws from an over-the-top arm slot and has short arm action. His throws were accurate and had great life. His position velo was 78 MPH from catcher. Scribner had a POP range of 1.90-1.97. At the plate, Scribner has a balanced setup with a smooth load and short stride. He maintains a level bat path with good hip rotation. Josh produces gap-to-gap line drives and with pull power. He had an exit velo of 89 MPH. In the game, Scribner put on an impressive display. He racked up 2 doubles and a triple and smoked the ball to all fields.
2/17/14 – Scribner is an athletic 5-foot-10 195-pound catcher with mostly accurate throws to the bag. He recorded pop-times between 2.02-2.09.  He has a clean glove-to-hand exchange and showed soft hands receiving the ball.  Scribner showed good arm strength with a positional velo of 82 MPH form the crotch.  Offensively, Scribner has a smooth load with a short stride and produces a fast bat with good extension.  He has the ability to hit to both gaps with good backspin carry and posted an exit velo of 89 MPH.  Scribner ran a 4.45 home-to-first
2/17/14 – Scribner is a solid 6-foot 195-pound right handed pitcher.  He has a ¾ arm slot with a fastball at 81-84 MPH.  He has an 11/5 curveball with gradual break at 68-71 MPH and a change-up at 76 MPH.  Scribner has a a loose, quick arm and good rhythm in his deliverty.  He throws with easy effort and has good command for this fastball and curveball.
Scribner is a strong bodied 6-foot, 195-pound multi-positional player, who showed well in all facets of his game. Behind the plate, Scribner has a good, wide base and showed to be a solid receiver with ability to handle pitches in all parts of the zone.  His top pop time was 2.04 (77-mph) with all throws on a line and right on the bag. In the infield, Scribner showed range to his back-hand side with a clean exchange and short, fast arm action. At the plate, Scribner showed some of the best power of the event. He uses his strong lower half and quick hands to produce some barrel whip through the zone, driving the ball with backspin carry. On the mound, Scribner comes from a ¾ arm slot with good rhythm, quick arm speed and long arm action. His fastball was thrown in the 77-78 mph range and breaking ball with 10-to-4 shape in the 66-67 mph range. Perhaps his best pitch was his change up, thrown at near fastball arm speed 71-73 mph with late arm side movement.
