6/9/15 - Lockwood is an athletic 6-foot 175-pound left-handed hitting catcher.  Lockwood showed the ability to use both gaps during batting practice, starts from an open stance, good use of lower half, path is level to extension, consistent contact during practice, 86 mph exit velo, 7.22 60, 4.52 home-to-first during game action.  Behind the plate, recorded pop times between 2.00 and 2.11, 76 mph velo, quick exchange, accurate throws, momentum to target, soft hands.
10/25/14 – Lockwood is a strong, athletic 6-foot-0 170-pound left-handed hitting catcher. He ran a home-to-first time of 4.75 and a 60 time of 7.41. Justin throws from an over-the-top arm slot and has short arm action. His throws were accurate and had life. His position velo was 74 mph from catcher and 75 mph on the infield. Lockwood had a POP range of 2.04-2.14. At the plate, Lockwood has an open setup, smooth load and short stride, maintains a level bat path with fast bat speed, sings of pull power, consistent line drives to middle of field during batting practice, exit velo of 85 mph.
Lockwood is an athletic 5-foot-11, 155-pound left handed hitter who shows some promise and we look forward to following his as he continues to progress. 
At the plate, the left-handed hitter has good rhythm with looseness in his swing. Lockwood has a level swing with extension through contact, showing the ability to drive the ball gap to gap.
Behind the plate, Lockwood’s pop times ranged from 2.12-2.20 with fundamental footwork and a clean glove to had transfer. He showed to be a confident and effective receiver and blocker during bullpen sessions. In the field, Lockwood showed to be a sure handed fielder with good range to his glove hand side. He has quick arm action with accurate throws across the diamond.
