Whitely is a lean and projectable 6-foot-3, 155-pound, left-handed hitting outfielder and right-handed pitcher in Missouri’s 2020 class. During batting practice, long levers, athletic set up, quiet load, reverse toe tap, quick bat, feel for the barrel, repeatable swing, showed hard contact to the middle of the field during round. Defensively, smooth actions, clean transfers, easy throwing action, momentum towards target, high three-quarter release, positional velo of 77 mph, accurate throws.
