8/8/17 - Kolb is a 6-foot 195-pound left-handed hitting outfielder in Missouri’s 2018 class.  He ran a 7.22 60 and a 4.44 home to first.  He has an exit velocity of 91 mph.  At the plate, starts in a loaded position, slightly closed stride, level path to extension, occasional pull side power, swing produced consistent hard line drives to the middle and pull side of the field during hitting evaluations.  In the outfield, 78 mph positional velo, high three quarters release, plays through the catch with fluid footwork and clean transfer, takes route behind the ball, quick to the catch, mostly accurate throws.

1/31/16 - Kolb is a 6-foot-1 170-pound left-handed hitting outfielder.  He ran a 7.44 60 and had an 80 mph exit velo, one of the top LHH velos. At the plate, starts in athletic position, leg kick, in line stride, quick bat speed, showed power to pull side, gap-to-gap approach, aggressive swings.  Defensively, 74 mph positional velo, high three quarters release, plays though the ball, fluid catch and throw, made all transfers cleanly, fluid foowwork. On the mound, Kolb throws from a high three-quarters release and with regular effort, stays in line as he gets down the mound, hides ball until release, wind-up starts with a rocking step, fastball is 69-71 mph, showed a knuckle-curve with gradual 2-to-8 action, 60-64 mph, change up with fastball arm speed at 62-65 mph.

6/16/15 - Kolb is a 6-foot-0, 150-pound left-hand hitting outfielder. He ran a 60 time of 7.65. He throws from an over-the-top arm slot. Michael has fluid footwork and a clean exchange. His position velo was 65 mph. At the plate, Kolb has an open setup with a smooth load. He has a level swing that produces line drives, middle-to-pull side. His exit velo was 81 mph. On the mound, he posted a max fastball velo of 65 mph. Kolb has an over-the-top release, throws with regular effort, and has smooth rhythm.  He stays in line towards the target, lands square, and has an athletic finish.  He worked at 63-65 mph with his fastball. He has a 12-to-6 knuckle curve, gradual movement, 52-56 mph.
