Average bat speed, long, uphill bat path, line-drive approach. 82 mph exit velocity. Defensively, showed average hands and the ability to play through the ball. Long arm action, high ¾ slot and clocked at 79 mph from the infield. Worked out in the outfield as well where he registered 80 mph from the outfield. Also, ran a 7.08 60. On the mound displayed a tall-and-fall delivery, long arm action, ¾ arm slot, landing square in line. Fastball showed sink and sat 77-78 mph. Slider flashed 10/4 shape, sweeping action ranging between 64-67 mph. Changeup showed sink at 71-74 mph.

Niswonger is a lanky 5-foot-11, 140-pound multi-positional player. In the outfield, Niswinger moves well to the ball, fielding it cleanly with a smooth transfer, delivering a top throw of 70-mph. In the infield, Niswonger displayed a good approach to the ball, fielding everything with his hands out in front, and some accuracy across the diamond in his throws. Offensively, Nisownger has a long, level swing and showed the ability to hit the ball to the opposite field. When he was able to barrel up the ball, he drove it with some authority. On the mound, Niswonger threw a 66-71 mph fastball with slight arm side run, a gradual breaking 11-to-5 breaking ball (56-58 mph) and a 62-65 mph change up that appeared to be his best pitch, with some run side run and depth.
