Stanton is a 6-foot-1, 155-pound right-handed pitcher and outfielder. He ran a 7.77 60 and posted an exit velocity of 85 mph. At the plate, tall set up, wrap in his hands, longer but in line stride, level bat path, gap to gap approach, showed the ability to hit hard line drives during batting practice. In the outfield, clean transfers, high 3/4 arm release, momentum towards target, carry on throws at 82 mph, mostly accurate throws. On the mound, Stanton has a high leg lift, slight tuck and rotation at balance point, lands in line down the mound, level shoulders, drop and drive type delivery, loose arm action, fastball at 75-79 mph,  late running action, throws for strikes, gradual 11-to-5 shape on curveball, 66-68 mph, throws change up at 67-68 mph,
