1/31/16 - Harlan is a 6-foot 180-pound right-handed pitcher and right-handed hitting catcher in Missouri’s 2018 class from Timberland HS.  He has a high three quarters release, repeatable delivery and release point, body under control, in line stride, fastball at 75-78 mph, 12-to-6 curveball at 64-67 mph, change up has slight arm side release at 66-68 mph, throws with regular effort, high percentage of strikes. He ran an 8.20 60 and has an exit velo of 89 mph, one of the best for the event. At the plate, starts slightly open, controlled leg lift, level bat path to extension, solid consistent contact to the middle of the field/pull side, power potential.  Behind the plate, pop times between 2.13 and 2.44, some of top pop times for the event, 74 mph positional velo, over the top arm slot, quick feet with momentum towards second, clean transfer, mostly accurate throws.

9/27/15 - Harlan is a 6-foot 175-pound right-handed hitting catcher in Missouri’s 2018 class.  Harlan ran a 7.98 60 and gets down the line 4.98.  Offensively, Harlan has an 84 mph exit velo, tall and balanced stance, loads lower half, level bat path to extension, line drives to mostly pull gap, balanced finish.  Behind the plate, pop times between 2.09 and 2.45, 73 mph velo as catcher, over-the-top release, quick exchange, fluid footwork, mostly accurate throws.  On the infield, 75 mph positional velo, high three-quarters release, quick exchange and release, fluid footwork, mostly accurate throws.
