Roehler works with intent and aggression down the mound, pumping his fastball as high as 90 mph in our looks while typically pitching in the upper-80s. He’s shown our staff swing-and-miss spin with his breaking ball as well, most recently at the Creekside Summer Championships this June.
Positional Profile: RHP
Body: 5-foot-9, 165-pounds.
Defense: athletic actions in infield, works well out front to and through baseball
Arm: Right. INF - 82 mph. high 3/4 arm slot, strong, accurate throws
Hit: Right. wide square stance, short leg kick trigger short to the baseball, slight uphill bat path, creates some power
Power: 84 mph exit velocity from the tee. middle/pull approach, showed power to pull side
Run: 7.47 runner in the 60.
Delivery: drop and drive delivery, stays well on line towards catcher
Arm Action: Right. 3/4 release, good extension toward target
FB: T84, 82-84 mph. slight cut action
CB: 66-68 mph. slower, gradual breaking, 11/5 shape
CH: 72-74 mph. firm, slight armside run, okay feel
