Quick has a very lean build, long levers and is 6-foot, 145 pound middle infielder and right-handed pitcher in Missouri’s 2021 class. At the event, he ran 4.29 home-to-first and posted an exit velocity of 83 mph. During batting practice, Quick starts upright and with an open stance, in line stride, aggressive swing, controls the barrel, level bat path. Defensively, Quick has good actions, quick to the baseball, clean transfers, short arm action, three-quarter release, positional velo of 77 mph, very accurate throws. On the mound, Quick has a simple delivery, works downhill, deceptive with shorter arm action, quick arm, three-quarter slot. Fastball is heavy, slight arm side run, sits 74-76 mph, around the zone, changeup is 71-72 mph at the event, near fastball arm speed, curveball is sharp and late breaking at times, 12-to-6 shape.

2/19/18 - Quick is a long and lean 6-foot 140-pound right-handed hitting shortstop and right-handed pitcher in Missouri’s 2021 class.  He ran a 4.56 home to first and has a 78 mph exit velocity. At the plate, tall set up, slightly open, calm and controlled leg lift, accelerated hands with fast bat speed, short stride, uses lower half well.  On the infield, 71 mph positional velocity, quick catch and throw, high three quarters arm slot, soft hand with athletic actions, exchange and throw on time with footwork, footwork creates momentum in line to 1B to throw, projectable player in 2021 class. On the mound, Quick has a short high three quarters, hides ball until release, smooth tempo staying in line down the mound, athletic finish, clean arm action, projectable and athletic build, fastball works, 72-74 mph, breaking ball at 61-63 mph, has early 11-to-5 break, change up at 62-66 mph, slight arm side running action, throws with near fastball arm speed.
