6/29/18 - Hanlan has a large frame and strong build at 5-foot-10 and 195 pounds. At the event he ran a 4.34 home-to-first and posted an exit velocity of 91 mph. During batting practice, Hanlan has a balanced stance, leg lift, loose hands, quick bat, strong lower half, showed hard contact to all fields, plus pop to all fields, during game action he tripled to RCF. Defensively, Hanlan shows off a strong arm, positional velo of 80 mph, accurate throws, high ¾ arm slot, ball carries, momentum towards target.6/5/18 - Hanlan is a well-built and strong 5-foot-10 205-pound right-handed hitting outfielder in Missouri’s 2019 class.  He ran a 4.69 home to first and has a 93 mph exit velocity. At the plate, starts slightly open, smooth lower half load, quiet hands, short in line stride, quick hands, feel for the barrel, power to middle of the field, strong levers, swing is a combination of power and control.  In the outfield, 79 mph positional velocity, loose over the top arm slot, creates momentum with feet after the catch, fluid and clean exchange, mostly accurate throws.

2/16/18 - Hanlan is a physical 6-foot-1 184-pound right-handed hitting outfielder in Missouri’s 2019 class.  He ran a 4.65 home to first and has a 92 mph exit velocity. At the plate, starts slightly open, controlled leg kick, doesn't get cheated with swing, aggressive, loose and quick hands generate fast bat speed, has power, mostly middle to pull side contact.  In the outfield, 78 mph positional velocity, smooth actions, over the top release, exchange on time with footwork, quick catch and throw.

6/13/20 - Hanlan is a durable 5-foot-10 205-pound right-handed hitting catcher in Missouri’s 2019 class.  He ran a 7.72 laser timed 60 and a 4.82 home to first.  He has a 92 mph exit velo. At the plate, takes and aggressive swing, showing pull side power during batting practice to the pull side of the field, rhythm in hands pre-swing, controlled leg kick, accelerated bat with loose hands.  Behind the plate, pop times at 2.16 to 2.34-seconds, quick transfer, quick feet, momentum toward second base to throw, mostly accurate throws, 73 mph positional velo. During game action, took aggressive swings, tripled to center field showing power.
