2/20/17 - Hunsicker is a 6-foot-5 225-pound right-handed hitting outfielder, right-handed pitcher and first baseman in Missouri’s 2018 class.  He ran a 4.66 home to first and has an exit velocity of 94 mph. At the plate, balanced set up, controlled leg lift and hand load, short stride, aggressive and quick bat speed, power to the middle and pull gap, balanced swing.  In the outfield, 89 mph positional velo, high three quarter release, works through the ball, clean exchange, fluid footwork. At first base, 85 mph positional velo, over the top release, fluid footwork, works around the ball, quick catch and throw with momentum. On the mound, Hunsicker has a large and powerful frame, high three quarters release, aggressive down the mound, throws with effort, up-tempo rhythm, in line down the mound, works on a downhill plane, fastball worked 85-89 mph, hand would turn over occasionally for running action, sharp breaking 11-to-5 breaking ball, 82-83 mph change up, sinking action. 
8/4/16 - Hunsicker ran a 7.82 60 and had an exit velo of 89 mph.  He had a 79 mph positional velo on the infield.  In game action, he picked up an RBI on a ground ball to second and singled to right against Kentucky and walked against Team Select. Doubled against Tennessee. On the mound, big body standing at 6-foot-5, 230 pounds that featured a fastball that sat 82-84 mph touching 85 with some downward tilt. Also mixed in a slider that 73-76 mph with some depth.

2/15/16 - Hunsicker is a 6-foot-5 225-pound right-handed hitting outfielder, third baseman and right-handed pitcher in Missouri’s 2018 class.  He ran a 4.44 home to first and has an exit velo of 87 mph. At the plate, athletic set up, minimal load, short stride, quick bat speed, line drives gap-to-gap, power swing, solid consistent contact.  In the outfield, 90 mph positional velo, one of the top velos for the event, over the top release, throws have carry, momentum through catch, quick catch and release. On the infield, loose over the top release, clean exchange with momentum through the catch, 85 mph positional velo, one of top infield velos for the event, accurate throws. On the mound, quick tempo in delivery, repeats will, throws strikes with three pitches, over the top release, quick arm speed, 84-86 mph fastball, works both sides of plate, 12-to-6 shaped breaking ball, late break, down in zone, comes out of hand on fastball plane, change up, at 79-82 mph, bottom of zone, fastball arm speed.  Hunsicker is a player to follow in the 2018 class with size and quick arm speed.
6/16/15 - Hunsicker is a strong 6-foot-4, 215-pound right hand-hitting third baseman in Missouri’s 2018 class. He ran a 60 time of 7.63. He throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with carry. Zack has fluid footwork and a clean exchange. He plays through the ball. His position velo was 75 mph. At the plate, Hunsicker has an athletic setup with a long stride and a simple load. Zack has some swagger in his approach and a swing that produces gap-to-gap line drives. There is definite projectable plus power in his swing. His exit velo was 84 mph. As a pitcher, Zack posted a max fastball velo of 84 mph. Hunsicker has an over-the-top release, throws with regular effort, and great down angle on his pitches. He’s aggressive and attacks the zone.  Zach worked at 81-83 mph with his fastball down in the zone. He has a 11-to-5 curveball with gradual break, 69-71 mph. Hunsicker struck out 4 batters in his 1 inning of work.
10/25/14 - Hunsicker is a projectable 6-foot-3 202-pound right hand hitting third baseman. From the infield, 81 mph positional velo with life, somewhat accurate throws. At the plate, open stance, short stride, 85 mph exit velo, smooth load, fast bat speed, level to extension, pull power, 5.21 home-to-first, 7.59 60 time. On the mound, fastball at 78-81 mph with cut, 12-to-6 curveball at 67-70 mph with sharp/late break, change-up at 67-72 mph, over-the-top delivery, throws with regular effort, tall and fall style, quick arm speed, strong lower half, throws strikes, long limbs, has ability to throw three pitches in the zone.
