Built with plenty of projection at 6-foot-2, 202 pounds, Yates showcased a polished right-handed swing with high-end power, barreling a 97.8 mph peak exit velocity (92 mph avg) and launching his furthest ball 386 feet. His elite bat speed (78 mph avg, T84.5 mph) suggests even more power to come as he continues to develop. Defensively, Yates moves well with athletic actions, developing hands, and a strong infield arm (T85 mph).
