Another standout performance on the mound from a Missouri arm came from RHP/INF Owen Wilde (St. Elizabeth, 2028). Wilde shows plenty of promise in an athletic, compact frame, running his fastball up to 82 mph in this look while also being up to 84 mph in other looks earlier this spring. What stands out the most about the incoming freshman is the maturity in his ability to command both sides of the zone with his curveball/changeup mix. At the plate, Wilde also swung a quick, right-handed barrel, posting a peak exit velocity of 88.6 mph for good measure.
