(Simpson Academy, 2023) has a future in college football awaiting. On Thursday the 2023 showed some next level ability on the mound. Adcock was up to 83 mph on the bump with solid secondary stuff and good command. Adcock, who also serves as the primary catcher for the Cougars, is headed to Mississippi Gulf Coast CC on a football scholarship. The solid 6-2, 230 pound was into the low 90's with edit velocities a year ago and we expect that number to be significantly higher in 2023.

Hit: (RHH) Advanced. Begins in a tall balanced stance with a small smooth load, then uses a long controlled stride. Above average flashed bat speed. Good extension on his finish, upward swing. Pull side fly ball approach.
Power: 91 mph exit velocity, average 80.1 mph. 67.2 mph bat speed average. 21.0 mph hand speed average.
Defense: (C) 2.21-2.34 pop times. Sure hands, developing footwork, quick exchange. Projectable. Wide setup.
