08.07.18
Average frame with a strong lower half, 5’10” 175 lbs. Strength translates to the swing with an exit velocity of 89 mph off the barrel.  Crouched and loaded on his back side from the left side. Slight weight shift back, settling into his legs for a load. Quiet hands. Average stride with a quick bat and good feel for the barrel.  Works for extension. Pull tendency. Stays in his legs with an active lower half. Presents well behind the dish with the left foot slightly forward. Average hands. Exchanges with long footwork, across his chest to a short arm swing and over-the-top release.  Some feel for the bag on the throws with average carry at 75 mph out of the crouch. 2.04 - 2.22 pop times in the workout.

01.28.17

Loose arm and feet that work through the baseball produced pop times of 2.03-2.17, showing accuracy on most throws.  Whippy arm produced average carry.  Some wiggle in the hips receiving allowed the hand position to sway.  Hands work well enough not cause too many issues now.  Left handed hitter begins balanced with a crouch, using a short stride to create better than average bat speed.  Posture tends to lean to the plate as the bat works uphill slightly, creating a pull tendency and cutting off some extension.  Shows a consistent feel for the barrel and works hands well to get through the bat path.  Exit velocity topped at 73.  Ran a 4.31 thirty.  Standing broad jump tested at 7-foot-4.

11.19.16

Athletic build with strength in the 5-foot-10, 165 pound frame.  Left handed hitter works with some uphill leverage and better than average bat speed.  Starting from an athletic stance, high back elbow, and utilizing a short stride produced good balance throughout the swing.  Good approach leads to a pull emphasis throughout BP.  Exit velocity topped at 79mph, with a future power rating that will rise.  Behind the dish, registered Pop Times 2.10-2.19, flashing carry and some accuracy.  High transfer leads to a short arm swing and high-3/4 slot, with some stiffness as he re-coils out of extension.  Landing slightly open at foot strike, the ball did not seem to tail too much to arm side.  Arm speed measured at 71mph from his stance.  On the infield, tends to play through balls with clean exchanges.  At times a little high and replaces his feet to load the arm.  Arm measured at 71mph across the diamond.  Sixty timed at 7.80.
