11/03/19

Strong build at 6 foot 3, 205-pounds.  Balanced, athletic setup from the right side.  Smooth load with a short stride.  Loose hands and keeps his barrel in the zone.  Left the yard to left field during batting practice.  Drives the ball to his pull side with above average bat speed. Exit velocity recorded at 88 mph.  Feet work around the ball on the infield.  Relaxed hands catching the ball in the center of his body.  Smooth transfers with an easy release. Accurate arm with some carry to first base that topped at 80 mph.  Recorded a 7.54 in the 60.
Strong arm, bumped 85 right out of the shoot on the mound, settling at 80-84.  Good rhythm, working to build momentum and timing over the rubber.  Average kick, working with closed shoulders at balance.  Level, lands on-line and closed with the front foot, falling toward 1B through his finish.   Front side is early at times, lacking direction but creating some run on the fastball.  Long, loose, quick arm to a high-3/4 slot.  Breaking ball is gradual, slowing the arm compared to the fastball, sitting 69-70 with 11/5 tilt.  Landed the pitch throughout the bullpen.  Straight change, with occasional arm side run when the front side rushed.  Change sat at 74 and was around the zone.

9/18/19

6-3, 210, the physical RH sat 82-84 on the fastball but struggled with commanding it at times in the relief appearance. He flashed a very good feel for a 68-69 mph 11-5 CB that he hammered in the strike zone however, Williamson showed a good base on the lower half and appears to have more arm strength coming. Offensively he showed a good eye and strike zone awareness at the plate drawing multiple walks on the day
