Dennis is 5-11 with a strong athletic frame that has some projection left to it. He hits from the right side from an open balanced athletic stance, short stride on line, short smooth load back. Hips rotate completely and he maintains some lower half balance. Hands stay inside, goes straight to the ball, slightly uphill line drive swing with strength at contact point, showed a pull approach with some gap power potential in the future, natural loft in his swing, exit velocity was 82. Behind the plate, clean exchange, throws from a high three-quarters arm slot, short free arm action, position velocity was 71 and pop times 2.27-2.43. Receiving, he gets low with one knee down and works up to the ball, showed some sway receiving and hands present ball well. Ran a 4.32 home to first. On the mound, he throws from a high three-quarters arm slot, long loose arm action with some effort to his delivery. Some drop and drive in his delivery, shoulders are uphill and slightly closed, lands open with an athletic finish. Fastball was 72-75, with some downward plane and boring action to the armside. Curveball was 60-65 with good armspeed and gradual 1/7 break to it that has some shape present. Change-up was 67-69 with some armspeed and sink to it.
