08.07.18
6 feet 2, 155-pound build. Still maturing.  Working back from a high ankle sprain at the Top Prospect Games.  Offensively he works from the right side with a tall, open setup. Smooth load with a small leg kick, getting his lower half through the ball. Barrel works level through the zone and looks to get extension, getting long at times. Works mostly middle to pull side during batting practice. Exit velocity recorded at 79 mph. Behind the plate he shows fluid feet with a quick transfer and short arm action, throwing from a high ¾ slot. Some accuracy to his throws with his arm topping at 71 mph from a crouched position.  Pop times recorded at 2.08-2.18. Plays through balls in the outfield with fluid feet and average hands.  Clean transfers with a short arm action, throwing from a high ¾ slot. Arm peaked at 75 mph from the outfield with some accuracy to his throws. Recorded a 7.58 in the 60-yard dash.

10.21.17
Average build at 6-foot-2, 150 pounds.  Room to add strength with maturity.  Right handed hitter works from a tall, open base with a vertical bat head.  Loads back in the hands along with a small leg kick.  Short stride.  Works to stay through the ball, at times lacking some club speed.  Gap-to-gap approach with average barrel awareness.  When on the barrel, exit velocity peaked at 76 mph.  Some looseness in the hips behind the plate.  Presents well to pitchers with average hand speed and strength.  Elongated footwork allows the arm to transition to a high-3/4 slot.  Pop times ranged 2.06 – 2.20.  Accuracy and pop time could come with big swings based on the pitch location – when the ball is centered, tends to work with a better line through the bag, allowing the ball to carry better.  Balls outside the framework of the body tend to fade.  From the crouch, the positional velocity peaked at 67 mph.  Also threw from the outfield showing some accuracy and peaking at 73 mph.  Ran a 7.51 sixty.

08.19.17
Projection still left in the lanky backstop.  Pop times ranged 2.06 – 2.18 with a positional velocity of 69 out of the crouch.  Prematurely aggressive to the baseball, pop times may adjust in game settings.  Low rhythmic exchanges as the feet gain ground.  High in the hips through the setup, does adjust in bullpen settings, settling in to produce a good target.  Average arm action to a high-3/4 slot showed some accuracy.  Ball has some fade to the arm side.  Right handed hitter starts open and tall in his stance.  Uses a leg kick to get to an average stride.  Aggressive demeanor with a whippy bat producing barrel after barrel.  Works level, wanting extension.  Line drives to the pull side were the norm.  Exit velocity peaked at 73.  Arm did work up to 71 from the outfield with some accuracy.  Ran a 7.65 sixty.
