Physical 6-foot-2, 185 pound frame with definition in the lower half. Potential dual player that will probably draw interest in the box and on the mound. Better in the box over this week. Hits from the left side and has a presence in the box. Tall and balanced, uses a leg kick while loading the bat head to a vertical position. Slightly uphill with his swing path. Some swing and miss as the head discipline can be an issue in the swing. Average carry from the outfield with some effort in the arm action.
On the mound, works with an average leg lift, coiling the body slightly at balance. Lands on-line and square as the shoulders remain level. Arm bottoms out with a slight stab in a long arm action. Effort getting to the high-3/4 release. Fastball ranged 77-80, creating some darting action to the arm side. Breaking ball 61-64 with big action. Hump out of the hand. Erratic command of the spin pitch. Change-up has some depth at 70-71. Good athlete around the mound fielding his position.
