Positional Profile: RHP Long, imposing frame. Great body control for his size. Intriguing prosepct as he continues to grow. His length creates metrics that stand out, but it is his ability to pitch that creates the most intrigue.
Body: 6-8, 226-pounds. Long frame. Proportional build.
Delivery: 1B side. Small rocker to the side and easy turn. Lift to the mid-chest, turning the front hip. Level and on-line to balance, some uphill shoulder tilt to set leverage out of balance. Lands slightly across his line with a square foot-strike. Good back side action. Some rotation toward 1B on his finish.
Arm Action: RH. Long action with a small plunge out of the glove. Slight elbow lead with the hand working to a free position through an over-the-top slot. Creates angle with his size and slot.
FB: T91, 90-91 mph. Sink metrics with some run. Downhill out of the hand with steep angle thorugh zone. Average feel, showing solid feel for his glove side. T2303, 2266 average rpm.
CB: 77-79 mph. Hard, late, downer action. Showed good feel. May be big enough tilt that it either gets freeze or chase. T2572, 2419 average rpm.
SL: 81-82 mph. Short, quick, late action. Excellent seperation from curveball movement pattern. T2371, 2320 average rpm.
CH: 78-80 mph. Good feel and solid arm speed. Should be a pitch that can get some quick off-center contact. T1668, 1522 average rpm.
