6-foot, 175 pound infielder ran a 6.94 60 yard sprint. Square stance, simple stride, linear barrel path with extended finish. All field avg. contact during round of BP. Posted an 82 mph exit velocity off a tee. Corner actions in the infield, short compact arm action that topped out 75 mph across the infield. Hands and feet work out-front, plays the ball through with extra step before release.
6/11/18- Nebraska Prospect ID
6-foot, 175 pound catcher ran a 7.26 60 yard sprint. Square tall stance, short stride trigger, gets stuck on backside, swings down on the ball. Ground ball contact during round of BP. Posted an 74 mph exit velocity. Threw to 2nd in the 2.27-2.35 range. Stiffness in stance and glove. Glove stays open when receiving, quick hands to block, legs lag behind.
2/19/18- 5-foot-11, 170 pound catcher ran a 4.09 H-1B. Square stance, short stride triggers, hands stay in loaded position. Compact line drive swing plane. All field approach posted an 79 mph exit velocity off a tee. Behind the plate threw to 2nd in the 2.18-2.31 range. Square set up, low base, avg. transfer and release. Follow for the 2020 class as he continues to develop physically.
