6-foot-1, 230-pound right-handed pitcher and first baseman. On the mound, the fastball touched 70 mph. The changeup is 64 mph, and still a work in progress. The delivery is online with his feet, plus ¾ in slot. The lift is repeated, shoulder tilt up top and he makes his way into foot strike. The tracking of the front shoulder needs to be incorporated. Defensively, threw 68 across the diamond. The glove is solid, footwork around the bag can improve. Ran a 4.99 down the line on his dig to first base. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 77 mph. Sets up even in base, steps into the plate as the swing is initiated. The path is long to contact, better direction with his hands to start the swing will shorten it down. Needs to be more aggressive with his swing.
Tee Exit Velocity- 77 mph
INF Velocity - 68 mph
5-foot-11, 205-pound right-handed hitting infielder. Showed the ability to handle his feet around the bag at first. Threw 65 mph across the infield to third base during the defensive portion of the event. Ran a 4.9 down the line on his dig to first base at the event. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 76 mph. Starts his swing with his feet even, uses no loading of the hands. Flips the bat to the ball and has minimal movement on the bottom half of the swing. Getting hand separation and adding the usage of the bottom half will benefit the swing.
Tee Exit Velocity- 76 mph
INF Velocity- 65 mph
5-foot-10, 190-pound right-handed hitting first baseman. Threw 67 mph across the diamond during the workout. The glove is solid, the feet need to continue to work through the ball, aiding the throwing process. The work around the bag shows promise as he is still very young and learning. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 63 mph. The set up is even with the feet, and he stays in his legs throughout the swing. The path is long due to the fact he drops his hands to initiate the swing. Better direction from high to low with the bat will help the process. Solid looking frame and projection to his game.
