Roll has broad shoulders and an athletic frame at 6-feet 185-pounds. Fastball touched 83, sat 81-82. Flashed a curveball at 64-66 with sharp 11/5 break and tight spin - near fastball arm action on pitch. Changeup came in at 71-73 mph with some run. Loose arm from a high-3/4 slot. Lands slightly closed and finishes toward first base side of rubber. Strong back leg on balance point, drop and drive type delivery. Shoulders are level going down the mound. Minimal head movement on finish helps his shoulders stay level on finish.

Roll has a strong 6-foot 185-pound frame. Sat 80-81 with fastball and flashed a big 11/5 breaking ball at 64 mph. High-3/4 slot with long, loose arm. Breaking ball has swing and miss potential with its depth if he can gain some mph on it. Windup is slow and under control. Gets good hip and shoulder tilt going down the mound, glove side is strong. Finishes balanced over lead leg.
