Physical: XL, athletic 6-foot-3, 220lb frame with strength that carries. 7.36 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Even, balanced stance at shoulder-width as the hands appeared at an upright position at the shoulder. Utilized a short leg lift stride, operating with quick turns through a flat, direct path into the hitting zone. Connected, controlled actions that produced lots of hard contact from the middle of the field to the LF line during batting practice, posting a T95 mph bat-exit velocity en route to a 67% hard hit rate per Trackman Baseball. Found his best result on a loud 364 foot batted ball distance, staying behind the baseball well with ability to hit for extra-bases (present bat-speed).
Defensively: The first baseman featured a hop in the “prep step†using a wide base that chopped the feet upon arriving to the baseball. A soft glove hand played low to the ground with quiet funnels inward and range inside/outside his body. Released quickly with low intent from a lower slot (77 mph arm, accurate).
Pitching: RHP - Started off the middle of the rubber with gaining pace throughout the delivery, moving at a cool, but quick tempo down the slope from a balanced stack, entering the zone with some life at 80-83 mph (9 inches HM AVG via Trackman). Later added a quality 74-76 mph CB showing swing/miss at times (up to 17 inches HM, 8 inches depth) and paired a good 76-77 mph SNK that flashed hard run in on RHH.
Physical: Strong, physical 6-foot-2, 215 lb frame.
Offensively: Balanced stance with feet just outside the shoulders, bend in the knees with slight lean over the belt and hands start in front of the back shoulder; toe tap stride with a fluid load of the hands straight back; strong effort from the lower half, barrel is direct to contact with long extension through the zone on a slight uphill finish; Impressive round with consistent hard contact averaging 85 MPH and peaking at 92 MPH.
Defensively: Active foot work around the bag; confident glove with clean transfers, arm action is short to a 3/4 release. INF: 79 MPH
