Dezzi is has a lean, physical build at 5-11 175-pounds. Plus athlete, St. John's commit. Overall, showcased one of the best offensive performances of the day. Homered to left field and doubled off the fence to right field in his next at bat. Sets up in the back of the box, quiet pre-pitch routine. Feet are shoulder width apart, hands are shoulder height. Uses a small leg kick to start load. Hand load is smooth and athletic. Aggressive hips and short swing produce plus power for his size. Sneaky quick on base paths.


Dezzi is a 5-foot-11, 175-pound SS/3B from Clearview Regional HS (NJ). He was a starter as a freshman and plays travel baseball with Bubba Elite out of Philadelphia.

11/1/14 Dezzi showcased good feet and hands on defense, while playing below the baseball well. His whippy arm action generated solid arm strength, although some effort throwing to the radar gun caused the occasional errant toss. The 5-foot-11, 175-pounder starts open and strides to square with a high back elbow and hands in a good launch position. He tends to spin a little bit, but maintains good balance and shows the ability to drive the baseball when he stays through the zone long enough.
