Notes

Comments

6/30/21

Physical: Durable, connected 5-foot-10, 185lb frame with even proportions on the bump.

Pitching: RHP - Started off the far right side of the rubber with the hands moving simultaneously above the head, on-time with a side rocker. Found a balanced, even stack at waist height, moving down the slope in-line at a lower H ¾ slot on the front-side. Created slight downward tilt on occasion at 82-84 mph working up to around T2400rpms at its peak. Mixed in a commanded, lateral slider (70-72 mph, 1850 spin) away from righties, turning to a hard-fading 74-76 mph CH that tunneled well off the heater.

4/01/21

Physical: Strong, 5-foot-10, 185 lb build.

Pitching: Side step into a high leg lift and turn, sits into back side as leg swings out and down getting in line while glove arm reaches out closed adding deception before pulling through over a strong front side; Moderate arm swing working up through a clean 3/4 release. FB: Commands in the zone with advanced life (Bauer Unit 29) and ride (21" IVB) through the zone. SL: Tight rotation out of the hand with up to -2" vertical drop and 18.5" horizontal break. CH: Good sell out of the hand with some fade.

2/20/20

Physical: 5-foot-10, 175-pounds. Lean, athletic build.  runner in the 60; 4.4 home-to-1B.
Offensively: RHH. Starts with an open stance, bat high and back, small leg kick, loads showing power Quick hands through the zone, consistent contact, adds some power on the bat, up the middle hitter. Consistent contact. 90 MPH raw exit velocity.
Defensively: Small hesitation when throwing, plays ball to the side, keeps body low when fielding. Over the top arm slot.   OF - 77 MPH.
Pitching: Builds momentum with a big drop step sliding to the left side of the rubber, leg lift above the waist, gets into the back side as he strides in line with some shoulder tilt before pulling through a repeatable release. Long arm action with slight hitch before getting up to high 3/4 release. FB: T80, 77-78 MPH. Downhill plane, life into the zone with tail. CB: 62-63 MPH. Big, Sharp 11-5 break. CH: 64-64 MPH. Arm side fade.
