5-foot-11, athletic build.  Roberts displayed a FB sitting 82-83 MPH with a sharp breaking CB.  He punched out 10 batters in four innings.

5-foot-11, 170-pound RHP. Pitching - uses height to get downward plane on fastball at 81-83 MPH, short arm action gives perception of greater velocity, late movement, arm-side run, smooth and effortless delivery, has potential to add velocity, gets sharp downward action on change-up at 73-75 MPH, throws curveball at 72-74 MPH.

Short right-hander with a good arm, pitches out of a plus 3/4 slot. The fastball sits in the low 80's and the spin pitch is marginal from that slot. The changeup is a plus pitch as it has fade and sink to it. Throws the changeup with excellent hand speed.
