Pride Workout (February 10, 2018)
Harris is a 5-foot-11 170-pound right-handed shortstop. Thick frame; ran a 7.37 60 and a 4.57 home-to-1B.. Offensively- Starts tall, with feet shoulder width apart and front foot open. A lot of movement pre pitch; hands waive up and down before loading back. Raises and hangs leg for load. Drives through the ball well, line drive results; favors pull side with a high one handed finish. 81 MPH exit velocity. Defensively- Relaxed approach complemented by quick feet and soft hands. Very smooth. Gets around the ball and delivers strong accurate throw to target. 73 MPH arm strength. Actions and frame may point more towards 3B in the future.
