Tall, wiry frame with projection standing 6-foot-2, 170-pounds. Smooth easy actions, strong arm with a quick clean release. Light on his feet defensivley. Offensively, fluid rhythm and tempo in the box. Smooth swing with leverage. More power to come. Impressive bat-speed at 95 mph. Works hands inside the ball. High finish on swing. Pitching - Tall lanky frame with long limbs. Uses a mid-high 3/4 arm slot and an extremely loose live arm with great whippy action. Arm action starts long but he is squick to get in up into his landing. Mechanics are smooth and fluid throughout release. Arm action creates great arm side run to his FB. Works down in the zone and able to move FB consistently corner to corner. Shows extreme confidence for his age and positive upside. Generates good leg drive and stays controlled with his movements. Ball is electric out of his hand. Minimal offspeed was thrown focused mostly on FB. Peaked 87 mph. 

Preseason - West (February 18, 2018)

Saucke stands 6-foot-1, 170-pounds from a super lean athletic build, with size projections to come. In the box he's relaxed, slightly open stance, loose hands. On the pitch he toe-taps for timing with a slight stride, hands power to the ball, short path with some incline to his barrel path, full extension out in front showing power to all gaps. 87 mph exit velocity off a tee. Defensively, active fluid lower half, rangy with a quick transfer and release form a high 3/4 slot. Above average arm-strength at 88 mph across the diamond. On the mound he's tall and lean with long limbs, oozes projection. Currently works from an upright delivery, belt-high knee lift, fluid back arm-swing with positive direction and long stride. Releases the ball from a high-3/4 slot with a fastball riding 83-85 mph with late life. Change-up has FB hand-speed sitting 75-76, with fade to his arm-side. Overall, one of the more polished 2021 prospects on the mound showing above average velocity with a real feel for a change-up.
